E.L.F. Mineral Booster Review

In my recent haul I purchased E.L.F. Mineral Booster to use as a loose powder after my foundation.

I was very interested in this powder as I have a skin condition called Sebhorreic Eczema, which is like cradle cap that babies get on their head, but I get it around my eyes and eyebrows so am always looking for a powder that does not accentuate this, I usually have it under control but sometimes it appears overnight and it is a right pain in the morning to hide it for work.

E.L.F. Mineral Booster contains corn starch which has anti-inflammatory properties, Zinc Stearate which has been found to help treat acne, eczema, and other skin diseases, Tocopheryl Acetate which is a powerful vitamin E antioxidant, Retinyl Palmitate (a Vitamin A derivative that helps to reverse signs of aging), Palmitate. Clinical results have shown that vitamin A palmitate significantly increased skin composition to increase collagen, DNA, skin thickness, and elasticity.  I thought this all sounded pretty good and I have to agree that my skin does look better since I have been using it, I buff it in with my studio powder brush and it really makes my skin look Matte and flawless. 

I have tried the Bare Escentuals and Lily Lolo minerals and this is by far my favourite, it absorbs oil in the few parts that I get oily (nose and chin) but does not dry out my eczema or other dry areas.  I bought the 5.1g size which amazingly was only £3.50 and this is a great size, it will last ages but I suppose the larger one would be easier to shake into the lid and you get 17.8g for £5.00 so it is worth it. 

I am very impressed with E.L.F. overall, their products are mostly extremely high quality compared to the price and it lets you try out a lot more products for your money than say Mac or Nars.
