Nude Skincare Review

10 October 2009

The first sample that I tried was Nude's Age Defence Intense Moisture

I only had enough for one application and I spread this evenly all over my face after cleansing and it absorbed really quickly and the cream is a pale yellow colour.  Immediately upon application I realised that this product has a very strong smell, I have no idea exactly what it is but it smells the same as my insect repellant!  So that was not a good start but I left it on to absorb as if it works I can kind of get over the smell. After about 5 minutes of it being on I went downstairs to look on twitter and just potter about, after a while I realised that I felt really hot and went to the kitchen to get a drink and by chance passed a mirror, and it was only then I noticed that my face had started to go really red!

Needless to say I washed my face twice with cold water as I think I had some sort of allergic reaction, I am not sure what to as the samples don't have any ingredients list and I can't see anything that looks scary in the ingredients list on their website, I guess it just must be one of those things especially as all of their products claim to be 'Beautiful without parabens, sulphates, PEGs, TEA, DEA, propylene glycol, phthalates, GMO, mineral oil and silicones'.  My face is still red and quite hot so I am going to leave trying the rest of the Nude Skincare samples until another day!
