This is my Christmas Holidays Giveaway and it's really simple to enter. It is only open to followers as it is just a thank you to you for reading my blog and participating with comments etc. I think you are one sexy bunch of followers xx

- tell me your favourite holiday food or drink (for example eggnog or haggis!) this doesn't have to be Christmas, whichever holiday you celebrate at this time of the year.

When is the deadline to enter?
Midnight on 3rd December and the results from Random.org will be posted the next day with the winners.

My favorite holiday food is definitely Christmas food (love winter food and soups).
It's something we always eat for Christmas:
Cannelloni or Lasagne (love when my auntie cooks lasagne al pesto genovese, rather then regular lasagne) and then cotechino with lentils and mashed potatoes...yum yum...add panadas (typical food in northern sardinia, you can't find them anywhere else in the world) and I am in heaven ;) google all that if you're curious :D

My fave has got to be the good ol' Christmas dinner YUM! sat with all the family, stuffing our faces with the gorgeous dinner my mums made. We go pub while she cooks haha, so after a few beers its the best thing EVER!

so here we go ,i love moroccon Almond milkshakes – also called almond smoothies – are very popular in Morocco, particularly in Ramadan or eid. A tiny bit of orange flower water gives this almond shake its classic taste. I like it best served icy cold.
and in food i simply love Halwa Chebakia (chebbakia or shebakia) is a Moroccan sesame cookie which is folded into a flower shape, fried and then coated with honey. It's served during Ramadan or EIDS ,and for special occasions.

I think my favourite part of christmas really is ALL the food. I enjoy cooking for everyone. This year we are having a big Breakfast instead of lunch so i get to make some delicious and different breakfast foods like Spanish Tortilla's, Tomato eggs, Zucchinni and Smoked Salmon Fritata's with Hollindaise. Ah I can't wait!

Since I'm in australia our menu's are a bit different to the rest of the world.
My fav drink at this time is Pineapple crush (lemonade, fresh pineapple, vodka and lots of ice all blended together)
fave main meal is freshly bbq prawns (shrimp) with a light pepper salt dusting
Fave dessert has to be simple shortbread.
If I've got all these is must be christmas and I'm content

Anyway, my favorite holiday drink is "tsokolate", which my grandma always makes on our New Year's Eve celebrations. It's the filipino version of good old hot chocolate, made with cocoa powder tablets (which I think are called tableas here in our country), milk, and ground peanuts. It tastes sort of like a liquid, less sweeter version of Reese's peanut butter cups.

My favourite food in Christmas is a sweet called "golden slices" (translated for english xD) It's a portuguese sweet, that is typical from Christmas time. It's sooo good! I've got to say my favourite holiday food is pigs in blankets!! You know... chippolattas wrapped in bacon. They're so yummy and I make them myself every year! Or it would be the turkey sandwiches you are eating everyday after christmas to get rid of the leftovers. Haha!
