As my Bourjois 1001 Cills Mascara Review was so successful I picked the new Volume Glamour Ultra Care Mascara up on Friday when I saw it in Superdrug with £2 off. I have been so surprised with the quality of Bourjois products lately, they really are brilliant for the price and I must start trying some lipsticks and glosses asap! You can look at their UK website here bourjois
The shades that are available are: Noir (carbon black), Noir doux (soft black) and Brun
This is aimed at those that have sensitive eyes but still want voluminous lashes. I personally have sensitive eyes but most drugstore and high end brand mascaras are still fine, but as previously mentioned I am attempting contacts soon so I was interested to find a sensitive mascara I could use if I manage to use the contacts long term.
The formulation is hypoallergenic and has cotton and sweet almond oil which condition your lashes so you don't have that gross crispy lash feeling when your mascara dries. Normally this would result in the product giving little or no volume so I was really surprised to find this actually gives me a LOT of volume and the pictures say it all. I used no eyelash curler and no primer either for a decent test. There were absolutely no flaky bits under my eye at all and I wore this mascara all of Friday at work and blogger event and all of Saturday at IMATS and shopping so it lasts the distance too.
Yes I am a natural blonde so I have blonde eyelashes,
pigs have blonde eyelashes you know...mmm thats why I use mascara!
The brush is really soft and surprisingly lightweight which means getting into the inner and outer corners is very easy and the brush is really flexible meaning you can get right in there and coat all of your lashes with ease.
This would be perfect for: Everyone but especially those with sensitive eyes who often find mascara irritating.
You can but this at Superdrug, Boots etc.

Looks great! I have to say I am a bit of a mascara snob so tend to lean more towards YSL etc but this definitely looks interesting. xx
@Jo I must admit, I like all prices of them, from Chanel to Boujois. The ysl one is next on my test list once this has been used up a bit. And I want to try the Lancome artliner too, have you used that?xx
ooo you have changed my mind about boujois. Lancome is worth a try.........there are cons to as it isnt waterproof and very pricy Its quite similar to some loreal ones......but it is quite easy to use and has a nice smooth app.lication :) Hope this was some help hun xx
@Alice - thanks sweets, which one would you recommend for a liner, i didn't realise the lancome wasnt waterproof that's a bit annoying!
I use this :) Well not this one, but the Volume Glamour Ultra Black one :) I use it over my Loreal Telescopic mascara :) The Loreal defines and lengthens, and this like thickens the lash! Love it!
Great review x
I think for me it will always be Mac's Fluid line.
The good thing about the artliners are they are easy to work with creating that smokey effect or if you want a more precise thinner line. I gave it to my sister who is a fan of the "cat eyes" and she loves it. So I think you should give them a try. xx
I love this :)
xxxx
I have blonde hair as well and my eyelashes a bit light colored like that too. ha ha
Wow you and so many have posted a lot of blogs since I was away!! That's great because I'll enjoy reading so much of them!!
Oh and I tagged you for another blog award hon! All you gotta do I name off 10 things that make you happy, then tag 10 others!! :-D
I picked this up last week in the special offer at Boots - so far I really like it. I'm interested to see whether it improves the condition of my lashes but so far so good - it doesn't leave them crunchy and is easy to remove.
Great review. :)
