Flipping through google reader I noted a couple of posts on the new Marks and Spencer Essential Colours Nail Colour Range (that's a bit of a mouthful)
So off I trotted to Marks and Spencer near my house to have a little looky. And what did I find? Absolutely nothing, and nobody had a clue what I was talking about. So after some searching online I have found some pictures of the colours that I want and some information about them. Whether I am able to hunt them down in a sort of Lord of the Rings style global search remains to be seen, but here they are to drool at for now in brilliant technicolour:
Pictures courtesy of Marks and Spencer these polishes retail for just £2.50 each!
The pictures of the colours below are Neon Pink, Lilac, Azure Blue and Baby Blue
Another product that I have heard a lot about and have not managed to find in store is the No7 Limited Edition Spring Collection Highlighter which retails for £13.00
I have seen the tester in store but never the actual product, every time I see a stand I go and swatch this on my hand as it is absolutely gorgeous. I have never been that interested in No7 particularly but this caught my eye as the tester was gistening near the tills!
The consistency feels really buttery and smooth and whenever I have swatched it on my hand it has lasted there hours and hours, even after hand washing etc. it doesn't completely dissapear which led me to believe it would be extremely long lasting on the face. The packaging is just so-so, I like how the product looks like it has been baked and is in a dome shape but the top of the compact looks extremely ....strange. I would have preferred a plainer compact personally. So will this ever be mine either? I will continue the search!
So has anyone seen these in real life? Do they actually exist?
Have you tried them? I want them even more now they are hard to get!

The highlighter defo exists babe, I picked it up yesterday, cannot wait to try it out tonight!
As for them polishes, I first saw them in the sunday magazine and also on a few blogs. Not good that the staff in your M&S didn't know anything about it though.
xxxx
That highlighter looks really yummy - you know when make-up is just really attractive? HAHA.
I'm not a massive fan of the M&S nail colours because I brought a neon 'tangerine' one and it was rubbish to be honest, but it could have just been the colour!
I really like the lilac one :)
Love lots,
Eliza x
The M&S nail colours look gorgeous, but I got given some M&S mini's last year, fantastic colours, just needed too many coats to acheive them for my liking. I'll stick to higher end polishes for that reason.
I'm loving the No7 Highlighter, the product is a great hit, but the packaging feels so tacky, see http://www.sparklzandshine.com/2010/02/boots-no-7-limited-edition-spring.html

I keep reading about this highlighter, and I want I want I WANT! :D
And maybe I'll have a looksee at those nail varnishes too...I've given up biting my nails for lent. A terrible habit! x
I like the M&S nail polishes. Shame your M&S doesn't have them. It's a fairly new line so hopefully they'll get them in soon. =)
your post made me giggle (the lord of the rings part)..and i needed that today. thank you:)
@Jo - I can't get it anywhere and Boots customer services told me to buy it online - erm maybe when every parcel I get sent from them hasn't got everything broken in it? Last time I ordered online my soap and glory thing had actually exploded.
@trippingtiffies - thanks hun, i aim to do something whether it be amuse, inform or just annoy lol!
The highlighter is very nice although when I bought it a couple of weeks ago there were hardly any left in boots.....on the downside also it is very hard to blend...it's really pretty but not the easiest highlighter to work with!...The nail varnishes are cute I have the pink one, but def like the look of the blue one...!... :0)
Those nail colors are gorgous, I want some too!! lol
