Affordable Eyeshadow - Tesco All About Face

I bet you didn't think these would be £1.49 each at Tesco did you?  Nope but they are!  Every single products from the Tesco All About Face range is £1.49.

Not the most exciting packaging in the world, but neither is Shu Uemura is it?

Surprisingly unlike I, and probably you,  would have immediately expected, these eyeshadows aren't a load of rubbish they (well the ones I will detail below) are actually pretty damn good!  I personally wasn't into the colours Gold Shimmer, Snow White and Meadow, as I felt they weren't as pigmented as the rest with much less colour payoff, so I would avoid those to be honest.

I am assuming that Mac, the world over, is probably the standard which most people guage their shadows (so shoot me if I am wrong) so I swatched them all next to similarly coloured Mac shadows so you could see their pigmentation.

Excuse me using an arm with hair, yikes!
I was running out of arms!

Because I am always predictable if nothing else, my favourite is Espresso, it's perfect for me as I have blue eyes as it's an orangey toned brown.

Are you surprised at the pigmentation?
I know I am!

Honestly I am surprised. I certainly wouldn't expect much from Tesco stuff but might have to try these when I head to UK in April. Just to see the pigmentation with my own eyes :D

@Jo deffo worth a look, the darker colours seem to be better made than the lighter colours, so I would stick with them xx

@Princess Livia, I will be doing a couple more posts on their other products too xx
