Whats happening this week?

I was extremely excited yesterday when I received a Boots Smooth Skin iPulse which had been sent for me to review.I am more than happy to shave my legs but my bikini line is another matter altogether. I can wax it myself but it is so time consuming and there is no way I can deal with getting my loolaa out to be waxed in public- no ta!

For anyone who hasn't heard of Boots Smooth Skin or iPulse, it's basically a system which uses an intense light to deliver heat down the hair shaft to destroy the follicle and stop the hair growing any more. It says you will get "permanent hair reduction" after 6-12 weeks of weekly use. IPL works best on fair skin with dark hair because the heat is absorbed by pigment and melanin (it'll burn darker skin). The hair needs to be shaved or trimmed immediately before treatment to increase the chance of the heat reaching the hair follicle and you also need to slather on a thick layer of the gel on any areas where you will be using the machine, presumably to prevent burning. You use the system once a week for 6-12 weeks and basically stop when the hair has gone. I tried it for the first time on my bikini line yesterday and it was pretty quick and simple, layer of gel, switch it on, zap each section once, switch off and rinse, job done!

So I will be keeping you girlies update on whether this actually works. Matt wants me to remove his back hair as well so I will try and take some before and after shots. Nobody tell Matt's builder mates or I am sure that he will have a few choice nicknames on site lol!

Next I found a new shop (ooo) Oliver Bonas has opened recently in St James' in London so I popped in and picked up a few bits.

This Gorgeous Belt was only £15

Butterfly tealights set of 6 only £3.49

Oliver Bonas was choc full of trinkets and lovely clothes and acessories, I will definitely go back them for some mugs which said "Keep Calm and Keep On Shopping", some gorgeous scented candles and a lovely navy blue studded handbag. I would recommend everyone go there if they haven't already it was like a treasure trove!

I did a little http://www.zuneta.com/ haul this week and one thing I love from the haul is the New ID Ice Pop highlighter

It is sooo beautiful

Upcoming youtube vids will hopefully be a lot better as from the beginning of May my BF and I will finally have our house to ourselves again.

I did manage to upload this very quick 3.5 minute video about a new eyebrow product I am in love with

I really look forward to showing you pictures of my new dressing table and storage once it's all sorted and neat! Yaay!

I have also been absolutely love love loving Label.M haircare this week and really girlies, you need to check this out if you haven't already. You can take a look here Label.M website or pick it up at a lot of hair salons. I have been using the mini treatment shampoo and moisturising conditioner this week and the sea salt spray and my hair looks fab! There is a youtube vid and a post about them coming soon as they are that flipping good..

I have been doing a little bit of shopping for Spring and Summer clothes so that's another video to do.

Sorry this is such a random post, I would have done a vlog but obviously can't film right now and I just wanted to update you all on what's going on and I felt like having a chat with you all xx

If you do have any decorating tips, vanity storage tips or just would like to show me your vanity area post then please do comment below, I am not very artistic or imagineative so I love to see other peoples ideas too xxx

Nice post babes. I love longer, varied posts like this. So cool about you and your beau getting your place all to yourselves again. Wish me and my bf had a place. One day :)

It's funny you should post about this as I bought the Boots Smooth Skin thing with Christmas money when it was on special offer but hadn't got round to using it yet until the other day when I did the patch test!

I love Label.M sea salt spray too, I use mine every day xx

@Becky thanks, lucky I was in a rush or I could have bought the whole shop, everything was so cute and girly and I loved it!

@nicolacc2008 thanks hun, it really has been hell. The worst thing is that I never know who is reading these posts or my facebook or twitter etc. so I can't really post my true feelings and my IRL friends are bored witless with my complaining. It will be basically getting our life back as he has ruined it!

@legseleven7 thanks hun, I wasn't sure if anyone would be interested! I wanted to update a bit about my personal situation just as an explanation really, I guess some people wonder why I don't do OOTD or more videos or more pictures, and he is why, he is always there in my way and I have no room.. I am debating a street party when he has gone!

@x.abigail yes I will deffo update everyone. I really hope it does work so I can lend it to my mate who has hair problems on her face, this one can also be used on facial areas so might be a big help to her xxx

@Lisa the label.m is absolutely amazing I want the entire range..all of it!

Hmm thought I left comment earlier but not sure where it's gone (apologies if more than 1 comment hehe)

I am curious to see if the iPulse lives up to its promises because permanent painless hair removal sounds great! :)

BTW I think your blog is fabulous & I have nominated you for Happy 101 award!

Really keen to hear your thoughts on the ipulse. I have been thinking of investing in one for a while

I really hope the ipulse works because it is something I really want to buy.
I'd be especially keen to hear any feedback on ingrown hair as it's a problem I suffer from really badly when it comes to hair removal. How much does the ipulse retail for?

Also, I LOLed at loolaa :D
