Not in a gross way obviously, I'm a laydee!
Fat Buns
I am sadly one of the millions of women with cellulite. Unfortunately if you have fat pockets in gross places it doesn't matter what diet or excercise you do. Obviously the fat cells will shrink with diet and exercise, but their placement won't change unless you have them removed via lipo (yes please, sign me up) so any cosmetic products that tell you they can rid you of fat or cellulite are crap as they cannot go into your body and move them around or remove them!
They can of course reduce the 'appearance' of cellulite or dimpling and that is the best you can hope for. So don't be too disheartened, it's better than nothing!
Over the coming weeks I am going to be trying out all manner of products that claim to help or reduce the appearance of cellulite to help myself and hopefully help others in the same cottage cheese filled boat.
This Week My Butt Has Mostly Been Using - Bliss
The product that made me decide to do this 'Project' was Bliss Serious Seaweed Cellulite Soap. It has a lot of positives and a few negatives which I will explain. I like that it is 'serious'!!
This is the info they provide
"The seaweed base and bumpy face stimulate anti-cellulite lymphatic action. Targeted seaweed-and-sweet-almond-oil-based exfoliating soap. Light surface strokes with seaweed will flush out fluids that cause cellulite. The inner and upper thighs, while in the shower."
Use three to four times weekly.
Positives
£10.00 for 110g this is a lot cheaper than most cellulite products of a department store quality
It's easy to apply - In the shower just rub in circular motions on your cellulitey bits, then rinse off
It's easy to apply - In the shower just rub in circular motions on your cellulitey bits, then rinse off
It smells really nice
It feels like it is doing something and your skin feels quite taught straight after using
The nubs are a bit scratchy but I enjoyed it!
It's good for the backs of your arms as long as you don't scrub too hard
You use it in the shower and rinse it off, so no waiting about for creams or gels to sink in.
Negatives
One of my nubs broke when I was taking off the plastic wrap the soap is packaged in. Therefore I think the plastic packaging is detrimental as it can cause damage rather than protecting the product
Once the nubs wear off, which of course they will do as it's a soap, I have no idea if the product will work as well?
I am never sure where to store a soap once I have use it, so far I let it air dry and then keep it in the box, but I have no idea if this is sanitary?
Overall
I love the cooling and tighter sensation straight after using. I have been using this every day since Monday so I will update once I have used it up and we shall see if any more permanent changes have been made.
You can purchase this from http://www.blisslondon.co.uk/
They also sell lots of spa -style products with hilarious names, it reminds me of Benefit in a way but more spa-like?
Have you got any cellulite tips for me? So far I have dried dry body brushing (did nothing) and I already drink lots of green tea and water but any other tips are much appreciated x

i shall be keeping an eye on these products in preparation for bikini time this summer! cellulite is so evil
I nearly choked on my coffee when I saw the title :-P Cellulite is unfair. I'm 22 with a BMI of 19 and I still have an orange peel bum. Granted that may be because my idea of exercise is blinking. I have very poor circulation though and someone at work suggested I try a body brush to improve circulation. I use it 3-4 times a week in the shower and I would say the dimples have reduced by about 75%. Very happy! x
Hey, sweetie! I am battling a bit of cellulite, as well. So far I have been drinking loads of water and tried many loitons and potions to no avail. But I am thinking of trying some salon treatments such as endermology or infrared or seaweed wrapping. Have you ever tried any of these? The word is they are really effective. Have a great weekend!
Oh my God I need something like this, I don't have any cellulite tips (unfortunately) but this can be a good stuff!
Hey, that looks like good stuff. I'm currently using Lush's Buffy The Backside Slayer which I think is great. But I cellulite definitely comes from your diet. If you eat healthily and be really (and i mean ridiculously) strict with your diet etc, it would probably go. However, I am not prepared to live without cakes so my cellulite is staying. And I couldnt care less. Wobbly bits are sexy.
xoxox
@Hannah yes deffo stay tuned x
@Eyelining ooh BMI snap! its ridiculous isn't it, you lose weight and it just still doesn't get the message and go away! The dry body brushing didn't do anything for me, I tried a couple of different brushes but I couldn't get any effects, I felt like a horse being groomed!
@Ina Endermologie is the only one that is proven to work I think? If you can afford it then deffo give it a go I am so jealous!

@Hollywood omg you have cellulite? You don't look like you do!
@legseleven7 I certainly think eating a totally clean diet would help, but that being said most of my friends just eat junk and have no cellulite, so I think it mostly depends on how your fat is distributed in your body, like how some people have bit boobs or a big arse, some people just have cellulite, meh. I did a vegan diet for a few months when I was 22. Did improve my cellulite a tiny bit but I was so miserable and lacking in energy I would rather hack off my thighs with a knife than do that again lol!
Good review. Think I prefer the idea of a soap to creams. Looking forward to finding out if you find any more cellulite fighting gems!!
