Sun Shots SPF 25
A few people asked for some more information on these so I thought I would post this today, rather than when it gets sunny (as I had intended).
These are little packages of 1 application's worth of suncream. The suncream is water resistant and has 5 star UVA and UVB protection.
You can see their website here sunshots
They are sold at the till in lots of newsagents, convenience stores, drugstores and they are now available in Urban Retreat stores (Harrods, Harvey Nichols Manchester; Kingston); as well as selected Debenhams and Fenwick but for full stockist details visit http://www.sunshots.co.uk/ I am also told that the multipack has been specifically introduced for the Cosmetics/Beauty consumer and offers better value per ml compared to Nivea, Ambre Solaire, Piz Buin etc
They cost around £1.50 or £12.00 for a box of ten.
Pros
These are brill to keep in the car, your handbag, or the children's bag when you go out just in case it turns sunny or you need to top up your sunscreen while you are out but can't be bothered to carry a heavy bottle of SPF around.
Handy when you need to apply a quick slap of sunscreen before you go out.
Great for men who hate suncream or don't know how much to apply. If you apply too littles suncream you aren't getting the full SPF benefit, so this makes sure you use enough.
Non greasy and doesn't leave a whitish film
Waterproof
Cons
You can get a large bottle of 5 star UVA and UVB protection suncream for pretty cheap nowadays so this doesn't really work out cost effective, it's more the convenience factor you are paying for
The packaging looks a bit cheap
Overall
As you can see there are many more benefits than there are disadvantages to these suncream sachets, I was sent a few of these to test out and I have given the extra ones to the BF to keep in his work van to make sure that he puts on suncream when it gets sunny (he works outside) rather than his usual excuse 'oh I forgot'! They only come in SPF 25 so they aren't great if you are super pale like me, but as he has medium olive skin they are perfect.

Hi, Sarah! I really enjoyed this review. Now, if only I could get these in Romania, they sound perfect for the fickle weather we get here. I live in a mountain area and in my town we need to have umbrellas as well as SPF with us every day in the summer.
