Kiss nails have released two new Everlasting Nail Kits available at selected boots in the UK and I was sent the petite and clear pink square kits to test out.
As you might know if you have read my blog for a while I used to have acrylic nails and I loved them, but due to having them applied by a complete dipstick the last time I had them done the ripped off on Christmas day I haven't had them since. But I miss them!
The petite size was perfect for me as I had to use the tiniest size even in the petite kit to get a nail small enough for my pinky finger. These look much more natural than any fake nails I have tried before, they have always looked so big and ...well fake!
They looked better than the ones that I used to get done in the salon!
Here is a before and after using the petite kit.
These were very easy to apply, just clean your nails with acetone nail varnish remover.
Pick which number nails you want by testing them over the top of your nails.
Apply a few drops of glue to the nail and the false nail, then starting at the cuticle press the nail on and hold for five seconds. Just twist off that little nubble as shown in the pic above and file the tip so it's even. And then they are on!
The nails last for 7 days straight. In fact since they were such a pain to remove I would probably have worn them for 8 or 9 days even though this isn't what Kiss recommend.
They were a right pain to remove as they were so stuck on there! You will need to melt these off with some acetone and since my nail varnish doesn't have a high % of acetone in it I was there for ages, just get some pure acetone to save you time! I had presumed these would probably fall off after a few days or chip, but nope they stayed on fast.
I really recommend these petite nails for those girls who have had trouble finding small fake nails who want something natural. There are great for a special occassion and I will be getting some more to wear for Ascot if I can find the petite ones as I love the polished French nail look. You can also paint over these and change your polish which is great and a good time saver, just use non-acetone remover.
The nails aren't super cheap but considering they last 7 days, are gel effect and don't have an airbrush white tip and don't damage your nails very much (they make them a bit dry so use some nail oil for a few days afterwards and let them breathe) I think it's justified. The cost is £8.49 and both the everlasting petite and the square nail kits are available at most Boots nationwide or for more info you can check out kissusa

I really prefer these nails as opposed to actualy acrylics ecause they don't ruin your nails! Sometimes you get a bit of glue left on them but that's all! These look so natural too! xx
Wow! These nails look so natural on you, I can't believe it! Thanks so much for sharing, I can't wait to try them out myself - I have a wedding this weekend, perfect opportunity!
I am amazed at how natural those nails look! Looks like I wont be wasting money at the salon anymore, these are such a better option! Simply beautiful!
There look fantastic! I'm not usually keen on fake nails, but these look really natural? Think I'm going to give these a go! x
Wow, I am usually not a fan of fake nails, but these look really nice and natural.
I recently got to review these too and think they are amazing. Even my totally fake-nail-fearful friend text me for the name of them the other day. I love how thin they are and that the pink shade of the nail is transparent rather than a creamy colour - looks more natural.
Agree about them being a pain to remove too!
@Kerry I was so surprised that they looked natural but I agree, so much easier than acrylics!

@Emily perfect for a wedding, and unlike acrylics these take around 5-ten mins to be ready tops!
@Allie they are definitely worth a look if you love the fake nail look, much cheaper than acrylics too x
@Nikki I know I was so surprised!
@ I like that they finally did some for smaller nails too @Rebecca xx
@Beautyjunkielondon I actually mentioned to them about the removal difficulty and it's because they can (in USA) get acetone much easier than we can, rather than just polish remover that contains acetone, she said she'd send us an email with the remover they also do xx
