E45 Endless Moisture Daily Care Review

E45 is a well known brand with a great reputation for good quality products at decent prices,so when I was contacted about two new versions of E45 cream to test them out I figured I would as I have never got on with the regular E45 cream but these new versions might be different.  I was sent the Endless Moisture Daily Care Body Lotion and the Endless Moisture Radiance Lotion.

The radiance version says it contains light reflecting particles and is great for accentuating a summer tan but according to the ingredients the only added ingredient  is Mica, which is just a sparkly mineral powder used in a lot of makeup products and it makes you look glittery, not 'radiant' so this review is just of the regular lotion.

E45 Endless Moisture Body Lotion

I find this version much thinner than the original and it is easily absorbed.  This isn't generally a problem for me as I love body butters but I know that a lot of you don't like to walk around all sticky and prefer to get showered and dressed quickly without getting lotion on your clothes. It smells lightly of a baby lotion type fragrance.

The Consistency

This is a thin lotion, similar to a vaseline style product or a face lotion, it is not thick at all and spreads very easily. The consistency means it sinks straight in if you apply after a shower leaving your skin very soft, if you apply it to a really dry area such as your shins it does take a few seconds longer but I would say its hardly even a minute before it's absorbed. The pump dispenser is really handy as well.

Ingredients
Aqua
Glycerin
Paraffinum Liquidum
Glyceryl Stearate - acts as a lubricant on the skin’s surface, slows the loss of water from the skin by forming a barrier
Dimethylimidazolidinone Rice Starch
Aluminium Starch Octenylsuccinate - yikes! info here
Sodium Cetearyl Sulfate
Carbomer
Methylparaben - info here
Propylparaben - another yikes! info here
Polyquaternium-51
Parfum
Phenoxyethanol - another fragrance

So was I allergic to this version?

No I was not, then again I used it on my arms and legs not my face and my face is the worst area for reactions but as this is a body lotion it isn't recommended for facial use anyway.

Price

Very good value for money. Because of the light formula a little goes a long way and it only costs £3.74 from  Boots

Re-purchase- I personally prefer a more creamy, thicker textured product. I'm also more into natural skincare these days if possible and if I am not being good and using a natural product I at least try to choose a product that has a delicious scent such as the Laura Mercier body creams or a tasty body butter. Also considering the positioning 'clinical trials' 'dermatological' it does contain quite a few possible irritant chemical ingredients.

I hope that you found the new ingredient overview a helpful addition to the review, please do let me know if you would like to see this again in reviews or if you prefer not to, either way!

The ingredient info is a great addition to your review, it's very interesting. I already knew about what parabens do and why they're bad so I'm trying to phase them out of the products I use but it's so hard to do.

Great review! xx

Excellent review babes. I reviewed the Endless Moisture Radiance Lotion not long ago. Its great for adding a bit of shimmer to a tan, but a bit too much for every day use.
