Normally I do my monthly favourites on my YouTube channel but I thought I would post them here for a change.
I have done a review on this I just need to take some decent pictures, my allergies have been acting up and my eyes have been so red and itchy I don't want to terrify anyone with close up pictures until they are less red. The general consensus being I really am impressed with this mascara. The current version and the extra black version (in the black tube) which will come out for the Christmas Starry Eyes collection are almost identical but the packaging and wand are nicer on the Christmas version in my opinion. I would say if L'oreal voluminous was a 10/10 for a drugstore mascara this would be an 8/10 which is pretty impressive for a £5.99 mascara. You can't get much for £5.99 these days!
They both give me volume and separation, my lashes are quite long already so I wouldn't say its amazing for that but it gives me a curl and holds it all day which is why I love it, as my lashes are long they have a tendency to droop usually but not with this, the curl lasts all day long.
Prestige Baked Mineral Blusher in Peach
Just like mini Mac MSF's they are a baked domed powder. This is the perfect everyday blusher as it feels light and is easy to layer to get the perfect amount of colour without ever being too much. A great new staple for me, I have been using this every day on top of my NYC blushable stick to set the colour and make sure it lasts all day. I will definitely try more colours as I am really impressed. If I didn't know it was a drugstore product I would have expected it to be a lot more expensive than £7.99
NYC Blushable Cream Blush in Big Apple Red
I was sent this by Anniedollface in our recent international swap and I totally love it. It has a great consistency, a gorgeous colour, cute packaging and it's easy to blend. I do need to use the Prestige blush over the top to set it and make sure it stays all day when I use it for work, but to be fair on a workday I am out of the house for over 12 hours so there aren't a lot of cream blushes that would last that long..or any that I have found come to that (do you know of any)? According to the lovely LouLou we will be getting these blushes in the UK next year sometime and they will be worth the wait as they are gorge.
Mac Viva Glam Gaga Lipstick and Barry M Baby Pink Lipliner
Mac Viva Glam Gaga Lipstick and Barry M Baby Pink Lipliner
This hadn't got much use since I bought it but after pairing it with the Barry M lip liner in baby pink and wearing it when I am fake tanned I am really enjoying using it. I also have a new lip balm which is making my lips look much less dry (more to come on that in a future post) so I think that this is applying better and giving a better finish too.
Sephora by OPI Nail Varnish in Leaf Him At The Altar
Another swap item, this is an absolute favourite now, I will definitely be rocking this all through Autumn and it will look perfect with all of the military coloured clothes that are coming into stock already in shops -- eek was that it for Summer?
Clean and Clear Blotting Film/Oil Absorbing Sheets
I think the rating of 4.5 out of 5 on http://www.makeupalley.com/ speaks for itself, considering that is the opinion of 1990 reviews! These are one of those gross but necessary products that remove oil without leaving a powder and are perfect to take in your handbag. I have no idea why I can never find these in Superdrug any more but I just get them from ebay and in case you wonder I have no specific seller, just whoever is the cheapest. These are called different things in different countries, mine says film but other times it has said oil absorbing sheets. Seriously Clean and Clear what are you playing at? I want to be able to buy these from Boots. Bring back the film, bring back the film!
Clarins Rouge Prodige Lipstick
After a rave review from Holly (YMBB) I had to go and grab one and I really like the texture, it's quite similar to Burt's Bees waxy lipbalms and it does last a good few hours compared to regular lippies.
I picked the colour 106 Subtle Rose as its more of a nudey browney pink which I like for work as it's not too in your face. The packaging is subtle but glam and overall I am really impressed, thanks Holly!
What have you been loving this month? Have you got one of the Clarins lipsticks - what do you think?

The oil control sheets remind me of being about 15 and being really excited about them! Haha. Memories! Great favourites! x
I love the oil absorbing sheets! That reminds me, I need to pick up another pack soon. The amount of oil that ends up on them amazes me, lol. Great post!
I've never tried any Clarins products. What sort of scent do these have (is it the same mint as the Burts Bees)?
I really want the gaga lipstick! Great favourites! xx
@Daisy haha me too I have used them since I was about 15! x
@Lauren Baker I know it's gross but strangely intriguing to find out just how much oil you can get off!
@Jeweled Thumb no definitely not minty, more of a flowery scent but not an annoying one it's pretty light x
@Mybutterfly63 I just bought it because everyone else hyped me up but it turns out I do really love it x
Great faves hun! I love Wild Curls and Gaga! I'm loving the look of the Presitge blusher and that nail polish is gorgeous, it does look absolutely perfect for autumn! Fab post! xxx

Hey, Sarah! Quick question: what are you currently using on your lashes for lengthening and volume, since I remember you saying that you weren't using LiLash anymore. I am looking for some alternatives for it and I wanted to know if you had any recommendations. Thanks xo
I've been seeing those NYC blush cremes, I need to pick one up asap! xo
Ooh I do like the look of that Prestige blusher! I may have to check those out next time I'm in Boots. Great post as always! x
