Late Late Gifts Competition Update

You may remember that I recently started a giveaway with Late Late gifts.

I have had to delete the original post as I was getting so much grief from people who had posted a link to my blog on a money saving forum, so many hate emails after I made it clear that they were not welcome to enter as they were not legitimate blog followers, including an email I just received saying "You are a repulsive whore. I hope you rot in hell you hideous beast."

Now obviously I am not bothered by their hate emails, you know the old saying - sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me? It's especially true if the person is a faceless email, you just delete it.  But considering this giveaway was just supposed to be a nice thing to do, to give back to you girls who read my blog it's kind of rendered the whole thing pointless.

The only reason I didn't impose as strict rules as usual was because of the eternal bitching on twitter about too many rules,  I now wish that I had ignored that to be honest as it's caused me a right hassle so the rules will go back to whatever they normally are for regular giveaways in future as this has wasted my entire day.

So the point of this post is to say that I have therefore closed the competition

I will speak to the people at Late Late Gifts on Monday and see what they suggest.

Obviously I am very sorry I have had to take this down, and obviously I am sure you can see why I did.  I will update you with what is happening with the competition as soon as it's decided.  You know, if I'm not too busy being a repulsive whore ;P

Edited to say - As of Sunday evening I am STILL receiving emails from people regarding this issue.  Just to make you aware these have been and will continue to be deleted without being read.
