Urban Decay Naked Palette - Swatches

18 August 2010

I know what I like and neutrals, buttery soft shadows and handy palettes are right at the top of the list.  Thanks to eagle eye Vexinthecity I was aware that the Urban Decay Naked Palette was available at House of Fraser in London Victoria. I left work at 5pm on the dot and planned to get the 5.28pm train home so somehow, some way I was getting to St James', sprinting to HOF, buying the palette and getting that train - and in true James Bond stylee I managed to do it!

The palette costs £27.00

This was supposed to be released on the 23rd August at House of Fraser and then 6th September at all other outlets....obviously someone's bodged that one!

Another strike against House Of Fraser was the atrociously rude woman who took my payment for the palette, I was honestly shocked by the amount of times she rolled her eyes at me, puffed, blowed and sighed.  Bearing in mind she was the one who couldn't work the card machine. Obviously it's a crime buying an item of makeup at a makeup counter these days....I will certainly avoid Little Miss Stropaholic next time I'm there.

So...what do you think of the palette?

As I only really use neutral shades, I think I might buy this. Thanks for sharing the swatches sweetie!
I hate it when you get rude people like that woman.
Toodles...♥

£27.00 is a well decent price. Way less than I expected.

I don't think I will be getting this until October, at the least, because I live in Cornwall. Cornwall being the 'no good shops' county of England. The only makeup shops I have are Debenhams, Boots and Superdrug. Sorry, rant over! :) xx

I love this- Getting married in December and this kit is exactly what I was looking for, super glam but chic. I'm wearing the monsoon bridal paula rose mini dress which has peachy pink roses on it as well as sequins so the shimmery shades in this kit will really go with my look. The only difficult thing will be not wearing it until then! Love it (btw must be somthing with Urban decay counter girls cos I had to ask mine if she was serving-having stood there for 5 mins being ignored) xxx
