What is it?
This waterless foam shampoo is the first of it's kind. It is what you would use to wash your hair such as at a festival, if you are staying over somewhere and have to rush off without washing your hair etc. This isn't for all hair types, it's for dry frizz prone hair and it will moisture and add shine in-between washes. It does reduce oil but not the same way as regular powdery dry shampoo. It also refreshes and leaves your hair smelling nice.
Price
£4.29
Scent
A nice citrus scent and it is infused with aloe vera and citrus extracts so that's probably why! It is good at neutralising any odours on the hair, I tested it on Matt's hair to see if it would neutralise his cigarette smoke and it did.
Consistency
It's a foam a little tiny bit sticky.
How to use
Pump 1-2 times into your hand and rub hands together
Distribute the product evenly through the hair
Brush through and leave for 1 minute
Use your hairdryer and blast dry on the cool setting
Restyle
Done!
Opinion
I think this is a really clever idea and great for people who often stop the night at their friends house or for using after work before a night out.
This is only for dry and frizzy hair so just use the regular one if you have oily hair or it will give it too much moisture and leave it limp.
The only problem I have is with the bottle. I was sent a bottle for free but it leaking in the post so I bought another from Superdrug. The new bottle leaked when it was lying down in my bathroom drawer and all of the product came out of the bottle and I think a lot of it must have evaporated. So I think the bottle needs to be looked at as I also have brands of mousse fake tanner in this style bottle and they have leaked as well, it's annoying paying £4.29 for a product that just evaporates!

Sounds interesting, probably a better option than dry shampoo at festivals! Tresemme need to sort out packaging in general, I've had two hairspray cans leak and one with a dodgy lid (the spray pointed downwards).
Sounds like a good product, but I prefer dry shampoo rather than something like this, I would rather not have to wait any length of time for a product to work lol
Super excited about this review. Thank you for doing it. I did read 2 so far but none of them made me realise I had to dry my hair afterwards and style it again. Umm, I think if i need to dry it afterwards and lose my 'blow dry', I'd rather have a proper shampoo. Shame this bottle is leaking too (and beauty's bad habit agreed too!) and at this price, this is not good. Batiste here I go for emergencies. You're great and you have a great blog

Great review....I have only ever tried one dry shampoo, the Tigi Rockaholic one, not sure of its name!?
I think I would rather just wash my hair if I had to start getting the old hairdryer out to use this product. I guess it would be good for people who have really thick hair that takes ages to wash and dry?
xXx
This product really intrigues me - but it would be no use at a festival with the lack of hairdryers!
The citrus scent sounds good.
I just used this product too for the first time, my hair is wavy/curly and i'm trying to cut down the number of times I shampoo. It has refreshed my hair nicely, it looks shiny and I only had to blast it with a hairdryer for a couple of minutes. The whole process was very quick.
I tried this product for the first time today - so rubbish!! Left my hair greasy and sticky - definitely not worth the £4.29 - mine is going straight in the bin. Back to the Batiste for me!
(P.S. keep up the great blog!)
THIS STUFF IS NOT THE SAME AS THE BATISTE DRY SHAMPOO.
I was kind of expecting similar results, but the powder dry shampoo's are better for for soaking up oil, though the batiste leaves mark that u really have to rub in. the tresemme stuff really doesn't suit my hair because its thick, get oily easily and is not that dry. it does have a much better smell, but when i bought it i realised it was leaking! they don't screw the top on properly. i really would not recommend this for just soaking up oil in ur roots/bangs.
