Anita Active Extreme Control – Sports Bra

2 October 2010

I jumped at the chance to try this sports bra as I am always on the lookout for one that fits and that is supportive but is also comfortable.  I am a 30F but received a 32E (which is a similar size with a slightly bigger band) so I wore it on the tightest hooks and straps so that it fit to it's best advantage for the review.

I don't think some people realise how important wearing a sports bra is but it is so important if you don't want droopy saggy boobs.

The bra fits snugly and firmly during all sporting activities that I tested it under such as: running, rowing, using the cross trainer, lifting weights, using weight machines.

The soft material that lines the area around
the armpit to prevent chafing

The underarm area is double lined with a really soft fabric so it doesn't rub at all when you move your arms and I did not get a red mark like I do from my regular sports bras which are by Royce and Shock Absorber.

The bra felt very supportive and my boobs didn't jiggle about at anytime but the bras is very comfortable especially considering the level of support.

The fabric lets your skin breathe and the outer cup is made of high-support fabric which helps you stay where you should be and also wicks away sweat so you remain dry (nobody needs a booby sweat rash).

The mesh material on the sides

The cups are seamless again unlike my Shock Absorber bras which is great as sometimes after the gym I take my bra of and have crazy red lines running about from the seams and they rub and chafe, this doesn't do that at all.
The inside of the bra cups has micro fibre towelling fabric and this is so soft against your chest and extra support for the breast tissue.

Lastly the underband is very soft but supportive and while it keeps you in place and provides support it doesn't chafe or cut in.

The Underband

All in all this is the perfect sports bra for any activities and perfect if you have fake/big boobs that need extra support.

An absolute must buy for me, I have already ordered myself one as I was sent this to review. I feel this is softer and easier to secure at the back than my Royce bras as they feature a Velcro strip which often goes funny in the wash and causes them to not stick properly and come undone.  I prefer this bra to my Shock Absorber bras as it is made with much softer and more comfortable fabric and doesn't chafe or leave red marks.

On another note, you often have to wear a sports bra after breast surgery to protect them and I would definitely recommend Anita bras as they are so soft and won't rub against any stitches.

So glad you liked it Sarah. The knickers have had great reviews, especially from netball players, as they don't go up the backside when wearing them. xx

Thanks for this Sarah! I don't use sports bras for workouts or anything of the sort, I just find them more comfortable and give my ta tas a better shape than regular bras.
