Dukan Diet - Day Four - Attack Phase

This morning's vital stats are:
Height - 5 foot 11 inches

Weight - 149. 3/4 lbs
Weight lost since yesterday - 3/4 lb
Target Weight #1 147 lbs
Target Weight #2 139 lbs

What did I eat today?

Breakfast - oat bran porridge with vanilla activia fat free yog
Snack - fat free yog
Lunch - 2 poached salmon portions from pack from Tesco with some super spicy chillis, woah man they were hottt!
Dinner - grilled meatballs - the whole pack haha yumm


And how did I feel?
Firstly I felt pleased with myself that I have lost almost another pound especially as I didn't even get a chance to go for a walk yesterday as I worked through lunch and then had to work in the evening too. I felt like I spent slightly less time in the loo today, although perhaps I have just got used to it. My breath does feel like it smells funky, have been scoffing sugar free gum like my life depends on it. Just one more day to go! 



I realised that I have saved so much time just eating protein, no making elaborate dinners gives me much more free time - certainly handy!


I haven't had any cravings apart from the odd random thought about my beloved marshmallows. I haven't had any headaches or negative effects, no bizarre spots or anything like that. 


The most odd thing is other people's reaction to my diet, it's  quite amusing, their horror at only eating protein, or them thinking it's bad for your health and that you're going anorexic or something -hilarious! People who are more than happy to scoff lardy fry ups, smoke, drink, have loads of takeaways etc. etc. funny how people judge others before themselves isn't it? I think they feel threatened that I have willpower or something? 


To be honest I have found the whole protein thing fine, I have had plenty to eat and not been hungry, I haven't had to find any crazy 'diet' foods or spend lots of money on any shakes or weight loss items. All I bought was a book, so not a big outlay.


Overall I am pretty happy so far.  Anyone else doing the diet - or any diet? How you getting on?!

I'm on it too- believe me, vegetables will taste so good tomorrow!
You should try making the pancakes into wraps- it's really easy for lunch & yummy!

Still got tomorrow of protein only, then Sunday I can have veg, not sure what veg to have, maybe asparagus?

Really admire your wil power! I agree about the whole judging thing. Except for me it's like people judge me for LOVING my food - yet they're happy to drink the majority of their GDA in calories purely from alcohol on a Saturday night? Confusing!

I bet you can't wait to have veg! I would miss my cucumber like crazy haha! I wouldn't know what to recommend as I'm not really clued up on your diet's allowances,etc.

I'm really impressed by this!

I've been considering doing the Dukan diet, but I decided to try just doing the eat healthier/exercise more thing to see if that worked. I've lost just over a stone in 6 months, and I've only got about 7 more pounds till I hit my target weight.

Also, I'm not sure I could survive without tomatoes, peas and bread. ;)

I completely understand the whole "judging" thing. I went out to dinner with a few friends last month - and I ordered a chicken caesar salad. Immediately they were all up at me saying that I was getting anorexic and I didn't eat enough. I choose to believe that it's jealousy. They don't have the willpower to change, so why should we?

wow im super impressed that you've lost 3.5lbs already! was thinking of doin the dukan mywelf as iv heard many good things about it!

@faithlessone - I can deffo live without peas and bread, not sure about tomatoes lol
