This morning's vital stats are: Height - 5 foot 11 inches Weight - 149. 3/4 lbs Weight lost since yesterday - 3/4 lb Target Weight #1 147 lbs Target Weight #2 139 lbs What did I eat today? Breakfast - oat bran porridge with vanilla activia fat free yog Snack - fat free yog Lunch - 2 poached salmon portions from pack from Tesco with some super spicy chillis, woah man they were hottt! Dinner - grilled meatballs - the whole pack haha yumm And how did I feel? Firstly I felt pleased with myself that I have lost almost another pound especially as I didn't even get a chance to go for a walk yesterday as I worked through lunch and then had to work in the evening too. I felt like I spent slightly less time in the loo today, although perhaps I have just got used to it. My breath does feel like it smells funky, have been scoffing sugar free gum like my life depends on it. Just one more day to go!
I realised that I have saved so much time just eating protein, no making elaborate dinners gives me much more free time - certainly handy!
I haven't had any cravings apart from the odd random thought about my beloved marshmallows. I haven't had any headaches or negative effects, no bizarre spots or anything like that.
The most odd thing is other people's reaction to my diet, it's quite amusing, their horror at only eating protein, or them thinking it's bad for your health and that you're going anorexic or something -hilarious! People who are more than happy to scoff lardy fry ups, smoke, drink, have loads of takeaways etc. etc. funny how people judge others before themselves isn't it? I think they feel threatened that I have willpower or something?
To be honest I have found the whole protein thing fine, I have had plenty to eat and not been hungry, I haven't had to find any crazy 'diet' foods or spend lots of money on any shakes or weight loss items. All I bought was a book, so not a big outlay.
Overall I am pretty happy so far. Anyone else doing the diet - or any diet? How you getting on?!
