Today I got myself up early and trekked to Professional Beauty 2012 at the Excel centre in London. My aims were to go to Lycon, CND for Shellac and Vita Liberata for tan. I did it all woo! Here are the Shellac 2012 Spring shade swatches.
Here are the much anticipated new Shellac shades, Gold and Silver VIP status just look basically like moonlight and roses with a gold or silver glitter mixed in. I think Cityscape and Rubble are my favourites.
I also got my brand new spray tan liquid for www.beautyretreatkent.com I decided to switch my tanning brand as Vita Liberata just had everything that I was looking for. Well priced, beautiful solutions, lasts for around 10 days vs the usual 6-7 days, three different easy to understand colours and it's 80% organic with as few chemicals as possible. They use this in lots of top end spas so I dashed to the stand pronto after I got my shellac. I first heard of this when I watched Millie from Made in Chelsea as she uses this all the time and her tan is gorgeous.
The mitt's even come with a colour guide on the back! It's genius!
I got a few other bits and pieces whilst at that stand for me so I'll review those separately.
Next I went and bought my Lycon kit which means I can go on their Class 1 course which is an introduction to Lycon waxing, very exciting. I am hoping I can do this is May. I got my strip and hot wax in SoBerry which is strawberry scented and pink which I love, Farrah from makeupitgirl blog got me into having my wax done with Lycon and it's one of the best bits of beauty advice I have ever had.
After that I was understandably totally exhausted, I ran back to the car in the rain to drive back home so we could switch cars and go and visit my granddad in Eastbourne as he is ill at the moment. I'm hoping that if all of my readers send good wishes or good vibes then hopefully he will be feeling a lot better soon, he has to have radiotherapy on the 14th so I am worried, as anyone would be. Get well soon granddad!
I hope you all had a lovely weekend x
