After being completely wrongly colour matched for my concealer at Mac I went to Bobbi Brown as I remember gossmakeupartist saying Bobbi Brown was good and he is a makeup artist to celebs so he should know!

I saw a lovely lady at the House of Fraser counter in Bluewater who took the time to sit me down and remove my eye makeup and then colour match me for foundation and concealer,I just purchased the concealer and not the foundation, I also picked up the colour corrector to wear underneath the concealer as my dark circles are just so big at the moment, probably just because I have been ill.
You tab on a tiny amount of the corrector to neutralise the purple circle and then you dab on the concealer and blend it in, I have been using the Nars #13 brush to do this even though that is for eyeshadow and that is because the lady at Bobbi Brown applied the concealer with a brush somewhat like this and it gives a really light buildable layer whereas if I use my Mac concealer brush or my finger I just apply way too much and as this is so pigmented it looks ridiculous, you really need to use a light hand.
The consistency of both products is pretty much the same as Benefit erase paste which I love but is not hacking it pigmentation wise as the moment (although the erase paste is improved if I use the corrector underneath) and Bobbi Brown creamy concealer comes in a lot more colours than the erase paste which only has 3 shades. The other other really cool thing about this concealer is that it comes in two parts, and underneath the concealer is a powder which you use to set the concealer, so a 2 in 1 product – i love those!
As you can see from the picture it also comes with a little puff but I just use the Nars #13 brush to apply the powder as the puff is a bit big, its lovely and soft though.
And here is a pic with the left eye bare and the other using the concealer…….eep! As you can see this stuff clearly works. It’s a bit pricey but I would rather buy 1 product that actually works rather than loads of stuff that doesn’t.
