Pedikur Dry Skin Removing Lotion Review – this stuff is like gold!!!

I wanted to do a review of this product on Youtube (which I will try and do when I get the house to myself) but I also wanted to do a blog post so you can really see up close how to use this product and how it works because Oh My God it is amazing!  However this product is also kind of gross so if you are of a nervous disposition then look away as you are going to see some extreme dry foot skin removal lol!

I was sent this product to try and I have wanted to try this in like …forever. You can only get it in one place in the UK which is on QVC here is the link http://www.qvcuk.com/ukqic/qvcapp.aspx/app.detail/params.item.215653/walk.html.%7Cmetadrill,html

or there is more information here http://www.pedikur.com/

On QVC the kit costs £24.50 and you get all of the above, the lotion, foot cream and scraper

The point of this dry skin removing lotion is to get rid of any hard dry skin on the bottoms of the feet or if you are a workman or woman those hard dry pads of skin you get on the palms of your hands. It does this completely and totally painlessly, there is barely any effort needed at all (take note ped egg and your exhausting cheese grater action) and the only things you need apart from the kit are some cling film and some cotton wool pads. Please note this is not suitable for children under 3 or for pregnant woman (incase you topple over trying to get this on your foot? I don’t know it doesn’t say why).

Now I do not have much dry skin on my feet, I give myself regular pedicures if I don’t get them done at the salon and I use my ped egg and a thick moisturiser. Or so I thought until the most disgusting amount of dead skin came off after using this lol!

The procedure is:

Get 1 manky old foot. Apply cotton wool pads to manky foot and douse in Pedikur lotion which is attractively luminous yellow.

Here is that lovely luminous yellow stuff

And this is how you apply the cotton pads to your feet, concentrate on the heel and the ball of the foot where dry skin naturally builds up

Then you wrap your foot up in cling film or cerran wrap or whatever you want to call plastic film just wrap your foot in it. No you cannot use foil if you have no cling film.

Now just sit and chill out for 20 minutes while the Pedikur lotion dissolves all of your dry skin, you need to keep your feet out of the way and don’t stand up.

After 20-30 minutes unwrap the cling film and use the glamorous scraper as shown in the first pic to scrape off your dead skin, bear in mind you only need to scrap gently. Oh and try not to be sick since this part is absolutely disgusting.

Yes that is absolutely VILE but better off my foot than on it ?

The final step is to use the herbal foot cream that is provided in the kit.  It contains herbs and menthol and is very cooling and softening, the scent is pretty strong so you might prefer to use your own foot cream if you are going out clubbing after using this product as you will probably repel everyone.

Have you ever seen these sort of results with a foot file or a ped egg? I certainly haven’t or with a professianl pedicure or spa pedicure. I had one pedicure medicale and they attacked my foot with something that looks like a scalpel! It was bloody terrifying and pretty painful and this is not painful at all.

I absolutely love this stuff, it’s going to last you months and months and the price of 1 bottle is the same price as 1 pedicure in a salon, perhaps near where you live a pedicure costs even more? My feet are baby soft now and I am going to buy a new one when this runs out as this is amazing.

Has anyone else tried any weird but gross products? How about those Biore pore strips? Eeew!

Thank you!
