Last week when I was perusing Superdrug at lunchtime I was having a nosey around the Sleek as there are new products cropping up every week it seems, and I saw this foundation and did a double take, as Sleek now have such a massive range of foundation colours that they have one that is even pale enough for me! I picked this foundation up and it’s full name is Sleek new skin revive silicone based foundation. What a mouthfull! I have the shade Shell which is number 627 and this cost roughtly £6.50
Now I am so incredibly impressed with this foundation it’s insane, if you use it with a flat foundation brush or your fingers it gives a full coverage and with a stippling brush like Mac 131 or with a damp sponge it gives a lighter coverage. I completely agree with it’s claim that it evens out your skintone, it does for me.
The pics are so you can see the size of 1 pump and then the larger one to see the colour
The silicone base makes it apply really easily for me, although I suppose if you don’t like silicone based products this could be an issue. The foundation is oil free which is good for me as even though my skin is dry it doesn’t respond well to oil either! I love everything about this foundation even though the plastic squirty pump is a bit cheap at least you get one unlike cheapo nars who don’t give you one at all!
I was impressed with the shades available as it is one of very few drugstore face products that is actually pale enough to suit me, nothing from Rimmel or Maybelline or Collection 2000 so far has anything near as pale as me, and no I don’t want to look like an oompa loompa who has been Tangoed.
This is my new one for everyday so I can save the Nars and Dior for special occasions and save a bit of moola, with so many shades in the range you should definitely check this out next time you are in Superdrug xx
