Fat Buns Take 2
Further to my review of Bliss serious seaweed cellulite soap here I have now moved on to a second product.
As previously mentioned over the coming weeks I am going to be trying out all manner of products that claim to help or reduce the appearance of cellulite or stretchmarks and saggy skin to help myself and hopefully help others with the same cottage cheese thighs.
This Fortnight My Butt Has Mostly Been Using – Comfort Zone’s Sacred Nature Body Oil

Comfort Zone is an Eco Certified brand which has been featured in many of the posher women’s magazines like Grazia, Italian Vogue and Elle. The oil contains Buriti and Jojoba oils.

Buriti oil is a precious active ingredient which originates from a palm tree in Brazil and is also known as the tree of life, it’s unique bright orange colour recalls its richness in cartenoids and therefore its powerful anti-oxidant action. Buriti oil is also rich in fatty acids which deeply nourish the skin. Jojoba oil is recommended in all cases of premature skin ageing and also for dry skins which have the tendency to wrinkles and stretchmarks due to the skin becoming thinner. Jojoba oil is an extraordinary beauty elixir because it is rich in lipds which have an affinity for the skin due to its linear structure.
The instructions were to:
Apply the oil and massage until absorbed, it can even be applied to the face to nourish depleted skin, use every day.
Positives
This is so easy to apply, it’s a thin oil like baby oil consistency rather than a thick gloopy sticky product and it absorbs quickly rather like a dry oil would
It smells gorgeous, like some Espa oils that I have – probably the overall scent is more jojoba oil
My skin feels really really smooth after using and it has definitely improved the stretchmarks on my thighs
I love that it is suitable for your face, I haven’t used it on my face but some products are so harsh they can’t be used on your face, so I know that this is a gentle product that won’t irritate my skin
I also love using this on my tummy and hips as it really makes my skintone look better
You can apply it really quickly as you only massage it until it absorbs, which doesn’t take that long
I like how the lid of the packaging looks like it’s made of wood (it’s not really)!
Now this product doesn’t claim to decrease cellulite and fair enough it didn’t reduce my cellulite by a massive amount but it did reduce it a bit and the skin feels more toned, a better texture and the stretchmarks are less visible so it actually did more than I expected it to do and Matt commented that the old thighs looked good (brownie points for not saying ‘better’).

Overall
I am really impressed with this body oil and would recommend it to those who need the skin on their hips, thighs, tummy or knees toning as well as their stretchmarks decreasing. I feel it is fab for toning as my legs overall look a lot better due to the skin looking less slack and the smoothness this product has given. It is pretty expensive however you don’t need to use much at a time and it only needs to be used once a day.

They also sell lots of spa -style products which look rather eco-chic rather than the usual dodgy organic packaging (it’s always beige…).
Have you got any cellulite tips for me? So far I have dried dry body brushing, excessive water and green tea drinking, a Bliss cellulite soap and the above mentioned oil so any other suggestions for products to review are much appreciated x
