It’s been a funny old week, one of those dis-jointed weeks where every day you have a plan of things to do that spans an entire page yet you only manage to complete one task and feel a failure every day whilst you try and catch up.
IN
- My All Saints Damisi Boots which can be purchased here
- Using Mac’s Dr Facilier Cool Liquid Powder and Illamasqua’s Ether Powdered Metal as my bronzer and highlight combo
- Using Illamasqua’s Ore Pigment mixed with Mac Fix Plus to make an eyeliner
- Using my beloved original Beverly Hills Formula whitening toothpaste again. The one in the gold box is always the best.
- Purchasing some lovely Busy Bee wax tarts so I could test out the scents as I want to buy a few of them as Christmas gifts so wanted to see if they smelled good. My favourite scent by far is Cinnamon Buns and you can buy them here
- Cooking Matt some lovely cupcakes. I just left them plain and he had a couple with a bit of jam. I love baking, it’s so cathartic as you just follow the recipe. Sometimes cooking regular meals means you have to add a bit of this and that and get too involved!

- Benny the cat is still behaving like a cat version of Kevin and Perry. As you can see in the above picture there are many looks of distain and disgust towards his loving mother. Can you give a cat an ASBO?

- I had a severe allergic reaction to a lip plumping gloss which left me looking like a cross between Leslie Ash and Pete Burns. Not a good look!
- I was sent a few bits from Revlon and while the lipsticks and other products I was sent were great, all of the shadows and the palette above were so powdery, cakey and almost chalky that they wouldn’t even apply properly to my eyelids. The swatches above were where I used a sponge applicator to apply to my hand as with a brush the powder just didn’t stick. Such a shame. At least the lipsticks are fab!
- I have lost one, possibly two of my YSL Rouge Volupte lipsticks….where are you? Come home you naughty naughty lipstick!
