Sleek Foundation Brush
This came in the 21 piece starter pro brush kit that I received at the Sleek Makeup bowling competition that I went to earlier in the year. This has got a lot more use than my Mac 190 which is quite surprising to me! It blends better and is very soft, it is great for thicker foundations and spreads them quickly to give a great coverage. I use this more for a flawless finish on a night out as it doesn’t sheer out the foundation. It washes really well and the handle is comfortable to hold. 9/10 minus one point as the handle is a bit long
ELF Powder Brush
I have 3 of these Elf powder brushes. I use it to buff in my setting powder, mineral powder, mineral veil or sometimes blusher if it has been coming out too sheer with other brushes. This gives a flawless airbrushed looked and buffs away all of that dusty powder look that you can get with some products. It is super cheap yet looks expensive and is a doddle to wash and dry. It is made of man-made fibres so it kind to animals. For £3.50 you can’t get much better! 10/10
Sigma F50
I don’t know why this washes better and sheds less than my Mac one but it just does. I wish it didn’t in a way as my Mac version was flipping expensive!
I use this pretty much every day for all light or sheer foundations and to blend my concealer out into my cheeks so it doesn’t look too obviously. It makes blending out light liquid foundations and tinted moisturisers really easy and, while your hands do a great job too, I just prefer this most days. It is easy to wash and comes up white at the tips which my Mac version struggles to do even though I use the same makeup with it. All in all its great value for money. 9/10 minus one as you have to buy sight unseen online
