Color, colour, potato, petato!
When these first came out my first thought was £35, how much?! I swatched one of the nude colours whilst in Selfridges and didn’t really like it so decided to stick with my first instinct and steer well clear.
Fast forward a few months and I was sent the private blend lip colour in Pure Pink and I fell in love with it.
The colour, lasting power and the fact that I always get compliments on my Barbie lips means it is a firm favourite of mine.
The pigmentation is fantastic and this colour in particular lasts a long time on the lips. I still think £35 for one lipstick is a lot and I would recommend picking your favourite and just buying the one if you’re on a budget, there is an absolutely gorgeous red, a very pale nude and a gorgeous dark purple and while the collection of colours isn’t vast every single colour is extremely well thought out and I am pretty sure the collection covers the bases of most people’s favourite lippie shade.
I do like the advertising, rather saucy no? Overall these are beautiful lipsticks which look classy and apply like a dream, with packaging that is heavy and expensive (as it should after you’ve just re mortgaged your makeup bag to buy it). Will one change your life? No. Is it a gorgeous lipstick? Definitely!
