Celebrity Secrets Tan in a Can

A while ago I was sent some Celebrity Secrets fake tanner.  I was sent Tan in a Can.  I have to admit it did take me a couple of weeks to get round to trying as I am rather addicted to my Organic’s Spray Tan, and erm get a bit grumpy if I don’t get my weekly fix of tan haha!

Celebrity Secrets Tan in a Can is part of the natural tan range and contains a vitamin enriched CS tanning solution which you can use upside down so it’s easy to do your back or the backs of you legs yourself.  The can contains no alcohol or CFC’s and gives a fine mist (well apart from sometimes when it’s upside down and splutters a bit).

This is quite a golden coloured tan and is great for medium to olive skintones.  It is also really handy to top up your real or salon spray tan or you can get 4 full body tans out of the can. At around £20 for the can this works out to £5 per tan which seems a good deal to me.

Hmm not the best photography work, and there was me

thinking showing the colour against a brown curtain would be helpful haha!

Apologies for my useless pictures,  I am hoping that you can see though that there are no stripes, streaks or lines and the tan doesn’t look orange.

You just mist the tan over each part of the body, I start with my legs, then torso then sides, then arms and face, then back then feet and hands last.  You can also use a foam mitt to rub the tan in (I did) as I think this gives a more flawless finish.

I really liked the almond scent and the colour, I do think that the packaging slightly lets the product down as it makes it look more of a St Moriz type of product when it is much better quality. A slightly more expensive looking packaging would serve it well I think bearing in mind I haven’t seen a lot of marketing (have you ever seen this product before)? The products are for use on men and women and have not been tested on animals.

After I used the tan I gave it to the lovely Farrah from makeupitgirl to test out and she loved it too, she also said she got a lot of compliments from wearing it…boo nobody complimented me, this is why I like it where Farrah lives, the people are friendly!

Overall I really think this tan is worth a purchase, I certainly preferred it to St Tropez and it is also a salon spray tanning liquid brand so there’s some good technology behind it.  For all of the range you can purchase here, they even take paypal > celebritysecrets.co.uk

8/10 on the tanometer
