As you may have noticed, I don’t like to just post press releases willy nilly, so I have collated all the ones I am interested in and a few I am not(!) and am posting them here for you new product viewing pleasure ;P
Label.M is launching an Organic Orange Blossom shampoo and conditioner this March. I love their current organic lemongrass shampoo and conditioner and use them most days, but Orange Blossom is one of my favourite scents so I am mega excited to buy these.
These new additions to the Organic range have been formulated to target women whose hair is prone to breakage and challenged by styling restrictions – hello…that’s me! As fine hair is approximately 30% thinner in comparison to normal hair texture, the new shampoo and conditioner works to deliver a soothing yet, nutritive action while helping to add volume to the hair shaft. Key ingredients include; jojoba seed oil to help boost volume; avocado oil to increase anti-oxidant protection; linseed oil which provides reparative Omega 3 EFA’s and added vitamins to give shine. The new Organic Orange Blossom shampoo and conditioner will be available nationwide at TONI&GUY and essensuals salons, including specially appointed label.m concept salons priced at £13.25 and £17.00 for 200ml. Oh yes I will be buying some of THAT!
TRESEMMÉ is introducing 24 Hour Body Sky High Plumping Powder to its collection. This lightweight powder creates instant root lift for full body results with a matte texture. I am pretty sure it will be very similar to the Label.M resurrection style dust but it’ll be a lot easier to find ie in leading supermarkets and chemists nationwide and it’s priced at a reasonable £5.99 for 10g.
ST. TROPEZ has announced the launch of its first high performance suncare line. The SPF collection has been three years in the making and is designed to protect the skin from both harmful UVA and UVB rays all year round. The product range consists of five products and includes SPF30 & SPF50 High Sun Protection for Face with Tan Enhancer and SPF20 & SPF30 High Sun Protection for Body with Tan Enhancer. Also available in the range is the Aftersun Lotion with a Hint of Self Tan which is suitable for both face and body. The St. Tropez SPF range is priced between £15.00 and £20.00 and will be available at Boots, select salons and online at www.st-tropez.com from March.
BAREMINERALS is introducing its debut skincare line featuring RareMinerals activeSoil complex, extracted from mineral rich soil and containing a blend of beneficial macro and micro minerals, and is proven to deliver faster cell turnover, visibly smaller pores, increased luminosity and softer skin. All sounds rather confusing to me…but anyway!
Products in this new line include two cleansers – Purifying Facial Cleanser and Deep Cleansing Foam (both £15.00) as well as a Firming Eye Treatment (£23.00). There are two moisturisers – Purely Nourishing Moisturizer for combination skin and Purely Nourishing Cream (both £27.00) for dry skin as well as the hero product, Pure Transformation Night Treatment (pictured here, £45.00), which is in a powder form. Available in four tones – clear, light, medium, and tan – this treatment diffuses imperfections. Key ingredients include emblica fruit for brightness, and honey bush extract, white tea, roobios leaf extract and vitamins A, C and E for skin conditioning. The range will be available from selected stockists nationwide in April.
TOPSHOP MAKE UP is not my cup of tequila at all. I just have no interest whatsoever, but I am sure lots of you do so hopefully this will be of interest > Topshop is to launch Sandstorm, its new SS11 collection consisting of metallic finishes mixed with neons to create a versatile collection. The collection encompasses colour for lips, eyes and nails. Key products from the new range include: Cheek Duo, £12.00, a versatile blusher and bronzer in a marbled dome for both highlighting and contouring; Metallic Mousse Eyeshadow, £8.00, a metallic finish mousse eyeshadow that is long-lasting and can sweep across eyelids for an iridescent sheen, or be built-up for a deep shade; the Eye Duo, £8.00, is a volcanic duo that can double as a liquid liner if applied wet with a thin brush and is available in two shades. Prices range from £5.00 to £12.00.
RIMMEL LONDON is launching the new Glam’Eyes Eye shadow range; 30 shades inspired by the London fashion scene. Glam’Eyes silken powder formula applies and blends easily, reproducing the saturated hue in the palette. Each shadow features Rimmel’s make-up advice on the back to help create the desired look, this also makes it simple to adjust from a day to night look by adding extra colour. The new Glam’Eyes range is presented in a graphic, glossy black packaging, while the eye shadows themselves are embossed with a quilted pattern and the signature Rimmel crown logo. The new Eye shadows are available as a Mono (£4.49), Trio (£6.49) or Quad (£6.99) and will be available from stockists from 24 February.
So do any of these things interest you? I have to say that the Label.M products, Rimmel Glam Eyes in that bottom colourway and the St Tropez SPF sound quite good to me, not so much on the other stuff. Is there anything coming out soon that you like? xx
