I was sent a small sample of the three scents of the Betty Hula Shea Butter moisturising cream and I have to be honest, I cannot deal with the scents of the orange and pink tubs. I believe these are Champagne and Spice and Rum and Blackcurrant but they just smell like air freshener to me.
I like the scent of the Kiwi and Lime cream as it smells fresh and zingy and a bit exotic. The Betty Hula products are natural and made with fair trade ingredients such as Shea Butter, Aloe Vera, Coconut Oil, Cocoa Butter and Vitamin E.
I got two uses of the sample as a hand cream so I can’t comment on how it is on the body but on the hands I found it was a lovely whipped butter type texture that sunk in quickly. I did find it a little greasy for a little while after applying but on my dry arms or legs it probably wouldn’t have been.
The price of the cream is the main drawback for me, £17.99 for 120ml which is pretty expensive, I don’t mind paying that much for Elemis where the skincare is literally amazing smelling and I adore it, but for something I just kind of like. I don’t think I would buy it, I have to be honest.
