I am told the Nude collection by Sleek Makeup was due to have launched yesterday 31st August. Personally I managed to buy the palette (for my mum) and the pout polish (for me) 5 days before I was even sent the whole range by their PR department and well over a week before the release date. I am not sure if this is due to Superdrug’s lax attitude to release dates or what, but I got the items in the Bexleyheath branch and there was only 1 left of each item them! I wonder if anything is in stock now in other place?
My favourite item that Sleek make is their pout polishes so I am happy that I have a backup of the shade Bare Minimum. It is the most lovely flattering pale peachy nude without being too opaque and concealer like (for example Mac’s C-Thru gloss). The pout polishes are the perfect combination of moisturising and sticky so they stay on but your hair doesn’t get clumped to your lips which is my lipgloss pet peeve, especially when your then-glossy hair strands stick to your glasses, it’s a right nightmare!

The Au Natural palette (£6.49) is fabulous, hence why I bought one for my mum. The shades are all flattering and there are plenty to choose from to highlight, shade, line and use on the brows.
The blusher in Suede (£4.29) is just a touch too dark for me at the moment as I am letting my fake tan wear off in preparation for my pre-holiday dark spray tan tomorrow. I will try it again once I am back.
The Pout Polish in Bare Minimum (£4..29) mentioned above is my pick of the items from the Nude collection, this will suit pretty much everyone and is so close a product to Mac’s tinted lip conditioners for under a fiver, it’s a steal really.
Overall a fab collection – definitely pick up the pout polish and palette. Steer
clear of the blush if you are very pale skinned or cool toned.
