Snooki and Myleene….separated at birth?
Perusing the usual press release emails I did have to stop and have a giggle at the one for Snooki’s new fragrance. Yes that is Snooki as in that crazy bi*ch from Jersey Shore…although is it just me or has she morphed into Myleene Klass in the promo pic?
Who in their right mind would want to smell like Snooki? Then again who would want to smell like Tulisa from X Factor or Taylor Swift either? Not me!
I understand capitalising on success and earning money by endorsing a perfume, but seriously if I think of a perfume by Snooki I just wonder if it is made with pickle juice. I wonder, does Tulisa’s TFB smell like chavs? Perhaps favourite chicken and cheap Argos gold mixed with own brand hairspray and a whiff of Primark?
I am all for the idea of people bringing out a perfume, but the scents are just never really that good in my opinion. I have tried and liked Katie Price’s stunning, Britney’s Curious and JLo Glow but those are the only celeb perfumes that I have not thought were totally useless. And would I ever repurchase them? I think it’s unlikely.
What I want to know is – what do you think of celebrity perfumes?? Is it just a big con or do you love them?
