I have recently been loving the John Frieda Nourishing Oil Elixir and Sheer Blonde Brightening Oil Elixir. I can’t even decide which one I like better as I have been using them both pretty much simultaneously so I think they are both must haves.
The Sheer Blonde Brightening Oil Elixir is for reviving dull and dry hair and for improving the colour and texture whilst restoring brightness and shine lost through heat styling. I does exactly what it claims and while it is an oil elixir isn’t greasy at all. Formulated with silicone (which works really well for my hair/extensions but might not work well for very fine and limp hair) it tames fly aways and dry bits to smooth my extensions without being greasy at all. I have no idea what the ‘unique technology’ it uses to make your hair colour look better actually is, but I definitely think that whatever it is, actually works well. It doesn’t make your hair look darker blonde, which some oils and serums do and it looks nice and bright and fresh. Sometimes when you use serum or hair oil it makes your hair look darker than it is, sometimes making it look slightly greasy, but neither of these products do that.
They are both really reasonably priced John Frieda Frizz Ease Nourishing Oil Elixir and are both 100ml for approximately £9.99, often on 3 for 2 in Boots.
My new hair must haves!
