Braun Face Replacement Brushes Review
The Braun Face brush is my alternative to the Clarisonic. I reviewed it a while ago and have been using it continually since then. I really liked the device to remove my cleanser and makeup in the evenings and there is a new collection of replacement Beauty Brushes from Braun Face. They enable you to use your face brush for more things.
I needed new brush heads so I got the Bonus Edition set of replacement brush heads which contains 4 Face Beauty Brushes in one pack – Exfoliation, Cleansing, Extra Sensitive, and the Beauty Sponge.
Normal Brush (white)
This is the brush to use to remove cleanser and makeup in the evening. Apparently it works 6 times better than manual cleansing. I feel it gets my face much cleaner than using a flannel.
Extra Sensitive (pink)
This head has longer and denser bristles with rounded tips, it is really soft and non irritating and would be great to use with a foaming cleanser (although I don’t personally use foaming products on my face). I have been using this only when my skin is red or has any irritation and it’s great for a more gentle cleanse.
Exfoliation (blue and white)
This brush has longer outer bristles and shorter inner bristles for a more intense cleansing. Perfect for using before applying a face mask to get rid of dead skin.
Beauty Sponge (white)
This is apparently for massaging creams and lotions into the skin or applying your foundation. This one, I do not like, I tried to apply my foundation and it didn’t work at all and I would much rather massage in my moisturiser with my own hands. I wouldn’t get these again.
Overall
The face brush is the equivalent of an electric toothbrush for your skin. From the new brush head selection box I like the pink sensitive brush head and the blue exfoliating brush head. I can live without the beauty sponge! All of the brush heads are really easy to wash and keep clean.
If you want to buy the face brush the cheapest price seems to be on Amazon at around £44.00, you can also buy all of the different types of brush heads on amazon separately or in the mixed box, they are around £12.99 for two Braun replacement brush heads
Have you ever tried a face brush? What did you think?
