Vichy Dermablend Fluid Corrective Foundation Review
Vichy Dermablend Corrective Foundation is designed to give total coverage, long lasting wear with a
blendable moisturising texture. Now it’s coming up to the winter I do need to use a slightly heavier foundation. When my skin is pale I have more need for coverage of dark circles and any thread veins and all that stuff that needs to be hidden!
Trialling
I tried this foundation every day for a week and it consistently gave at least 12 hours of long lasting flawless wear.
I used it in conjunction with the setting powder which I was also very impressed with. The texture of the foundation isn’t completely lightweight but it’s easy to blend especially with a small foundation brush or beauty blender.
The pigmentation of this foundation is amazing and I think it would be great if you have any spots or scarring, you don’t get a mask-like effect and my skin wasn’t dry when I removed it at the end of the day. The foundation contains an SPF of 35 which I always think is important.
Setting Powder
Vichy Dermablend Setting Powder was created to use in conjunction with the Dermablend High-Coverage Corrective Foundation to help reinforce the hold of the foundation. Despite it being white it does disappear when you apply it.
This is a foolproof loose powder as you can slap it on, and buff it in and it looks invisible. I would say it’s a great first time loose powder if you aren’t sure on your application preference. In two minutes I can pretty much do my entire face of makeup. I just apply with a flat top brush and buff into the foundation which works perfectly. It works perfectly to give a flawless pore free look and helps your makeup stay on all day.
Overall
If you are looking for more coverage or just to cover up imperfections then I think these are inexpensive, good quality products.
