Chanel-esque Espadrilles

I’ve coveted a pair of classic Chanel Espadrilles for years but as they retail new at around £415,   they’re simply out of my price range.  I set aside my thoughts of them until I recently found the perfect replacement.

I love the classic colours and simple design; they’re perfect for throwing on with everything from jeans or leggings to a skater dress.  I can’t think of anything they wouldn’t go with – the colours and style are so versatile.

Chanel-esque Espadrilles

The Daniel Dollis Hill 2 Beige Leather Espadrilles  RRP £79.99 in comparison to the £415 Chanel pair but look extremely similar.  They are well made with a soft premium leather upper and sturdy rubber sole with raffia trim.

The easy to wear slip on style Daniel espadrilles  are my wardrobe staple right now and I’ve been wearing them nearly every day.  They are so comfortable!

I am so pleased I managed to find such a good dupe for under £80! I went with the cream and navy as this is the classic Chanel colourway.   If you’re worried about getting a light pair of shoes dirty they come in other colours including tan and black.  There’s also another espadrille style with Valentino-esque studs.

I’m considering buying the black woven pair to complete my summer wardrobe.  I wear a lot of black as well as navy so I can imagine these would be handy for wearing at the office. They look smart and chic but are as comfortable as slippers.

The espadrilles are true to size.  If you have a thinner heel then I recommend sticking gel cushions inside the heel for some grip. The main plus to these shoes is that they are so so comfortable and soft. If you get sore feet with new shoes normally do not worry, you won’t with these.
