The Perfect Nail Salon and Blow Dry Bar in London
Finding a salon that does a proper Shellac application that uses all of the correct products and due care is really difficult. I have tried so many spas and nail bars in London. And none of them have been good enough for me to book a regular appointment.
I saw the recommendation from Victoria of Inthefrow for a new place called DryBy, not too far from my office, just off Regent Street. I booked myself an appointment for a pedicure to test it out and here’s what I found. DryBy offers a wash and blow dry service, manicures, pedicures and Shellac manicures and pedicures. They also do some great nail art.

I was pleasantly surprised when I reached the salon. It’s nothing like clinical nail bars that are on every high street. It has a serene, home-like vibe with fancy grey and blush pink furniture with marble and gold accents. It has a very calming and peaceful vibe and seems perfect for busy women on the go, to go and take a little time for themselves. You can chill out further by having a lovely glass of prosecco with your treatment.
The lady who did my pedicure was very thorough and my toes, if I do say so myself, looked great afterwards. All of the staff seemed friendly and professional and all of the other customers seemed to be enjoying themselves.
I opted for a dark berry red CND Vinylux polish but there were so many to choose from, from metallic rose gold to every other colour of the rainbow. The pedicure has so far lasted 2 weeks with no chips at all and I enjoyed myself so much I have booked in for a Shellac manicure next Monday evening.
Definitely give this a go if your usual London salon leaves a lot to be desired or if you’re just looking for a new place to try in town.
And yes, my left ankle is swollen, I have a sprained ankle sadly!
