October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and they have raised £50 million to date. In support of this many brands produce special limited edition or pink versions of their products with a percentage of the profits going to breast cancer charities. So for some guilt free shopping, here are my top picks.
Origins bestselling Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask has been given a limited edition pink makeover. It costs £24 with £4 going to Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Paul Mitchell has partnered with breast and ovarian health charity Bright Pink, and is donating money from the sales of three products – including the United In Pink Super Skinny Serum, £19.50.
The Jo Malone Red Roses Cologne, £86 for 100ml, has had a pink ribbon makeover this month. A whopping £20 per bottle sold will be donated to the Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation.
Buy any Pink Popband’s hairband designs this month and 10% of the sale of each pack will go to the Pink Ribbon Foundation. £8 for five.
Elemis have pledged to donate £10,000 to Breast Cancer Care from sales of The Hero Collection. £55 (worth £95), featuring four bestsellers and a hot pink cosmetics bag. It contains Cellular Recovery Skin Bliss Capsules, Pro-Collagen Marine Cream, Pro-Collagen Neck and Décolleté Balm and Frangipani Monoi Body Oil. Gorgeous!
La Mer is supporting the Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign with the luxurious limited-edition Lip Balm. For every purchase of this limited-edition Lip Balm in the UK during October, La Mer will donate £9 to the Breast Cancer Research Fund. No link as it’s sold online but check in store.
For years, people have worn the pink ribbon. Now get a Lokai bracelet as a symbol of support and a reminder to stay hopeful. Lokai will donate $1 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation for each Limited Edition Pink Lokai Bracelet sold between September 30, 2016 and October 31, 2016.
Estee Lauder has brought together a host of products in the Estee Lauder Companies BCA Beauty Box, £20. Much like a monthly beauty box but full of stuff you actually want to use. With cult favourites from Clinique, Aveda, Smashbox, £12 will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
And finally, this beauty from Estee Lauder. The gorgeous Pink Perfection Colour Collection. The pink mirrored purse contains 4 eye shadows, a blusher and a vibrant pink lipstick. Cost is £38 and 20% will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
