Breast Cancer Awareness Month – The Best Beauty Products

Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2016

 The Best Beauty Products

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and they have raised £50 million to date.  In support of this many brands produce special limited edition or pink versions of their products with a percentage of the profits going to breast cancer charities.  So for some guilt free shopping, here are my top picks.

The Products

Origins bestselling Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask has been given a limited edition pink makeover.  It costs £24 with £4 going to Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Paul Mitchell has partnered with breast and ovarian health charity Bright Pink, and is donating money from the sales of three products – including the United In Pink Super Skinny Serum, £19.50.

The Jo Malone Red Roses Cologne, £86 for 100ml, has had a pink ribbon makeover this month.  A whopping £20 per bottle sold will be donated to the Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation.

Buy any Pink Popband’s hairband designs this month and 10% of the sale of each pack will go to the Pink Ribbon Foundation. £8 for five.

Elemis have pledged to donate £10,000 to Breast Cancer Care from sales of The Hero Collection.  £55 (worth £95), featuring four bestsellers and a hot pink cosmetics bag.  It contains Cellular Recovery Skin Bliss Capsules, Pro-Collagen Marine Cream, Pro-Collagen Neck and Décolleté Balm and Frangipani Monoi Body Oil. Gorgeous!

La Mer is supporting the Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign with the luxurious limited-edition Lip Balm. For every purchase of this limited-edition Lip Balm in the UK during October, La Mer will donate £9 to the Breast Cancer Research Fund. No link as it’s sold online but check in store.

For years, people have worn the pink ribbon.  Now get a Lokai bracelet as a symbol of support and a reminder to stay hopeful. Lokai will donate $1 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation for each Limited Edition Pink Lokai Bracelet sold between September 30, 2016 and October 31, 2016.

Estee Lauder

Estee Lauder has brought together a host of products in the Estee Lauder Companies BCA Beauty Box, £20.  Much like a monthly beauty box but full of stuff you actually want to use.  With cult favourites from Clinique, Aveda, Smashbox, £12 will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

And finally, this beauty from Estee Lauder.  The gorgeous Pink Perfection Colour Collection.  The pink mirrored purse contains 4 eye shadows, a blusher and a vibrant pink lipstick. Cost is £38 and 20% will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
