If you’re off on your travels soon then you’ll be hard pressed to avoid World Duty-Free. I like to reward myself when I fly just as a little present to me from me!  If you’ll be passing through an airport with  World Duty-Free soon and want some beauty essential ideas to pick up while travelling here are my suggestions.

Pamper Yourself

If you’ve got a bit of time to spare before you board you can enjoy a complimentary pampering treatment.  I’ve previously had a full body massage at one airport and a Jo Malone hand and arm massage at another.  There are lots of other options of quick treatments from a facial cleanse at La Mer to clean your skin before flying or a make-up lesson at Bobbi Brown. If you’re on a business trip and your flight isn’t too long I recommend getting your makeup applied at the airport so you can turn up to the meeting feeling fresh.

What can I Typically Save?

At World Duty Free there is a minimum saving of a VAT equivalent discount vs. the average UK High Street Price or RRP on  products 365 days a year where ever you are flying to.  You can save even more on selected products and categories.

  • Fragrance & Alcohol  -20% vs. the average UK High Street Price
  • Skincare & Cosmetics – VAT equivalent savings vs. the average UK High Street Price
  • Luxury, Souvenirs, Toys & Electricals, – VAT equivalent savings vs. the recommended retail price

Current Duty-Free Faves

Mac Look In A Box is the perfect thing to buy as a gift for anyone or for a new holiday look for yourself. There are four sets available, the one pictured is called Be Sweet and Dreamy.

As you’d expect the box is filled with everything you need for a whole new look. Be Sweet and dreamy is filled with nude browns and light golds for a subtle sexy look.  There’s an understated gold cream colour base highlighter, a duo of gold and nude brown eyeshadows, a brown kohl eyeliner, the fabulous Kinda Sexy lipstick and MAC’s Haute & Naughty Lash black mascara.  The whole look is gorgeous and I shall attempt to do the look and post some pictures soon.

Jo Malone Red Roses Perfume

As you can see from the above picture, I am lucky enough to have the gorgeous Jo Malone in a limited edition Valentine’s Day gift box but it is just a box, and you can buy the perfume in World Duty-Free and save a whopping £17.20 on a 100ml bottle of Red Roses EDC.  Jo Malone is always my favourite stop in the airport and honestly, it’s the only place I buy the products due to the high prices and the fact I travel quite a lot. It’s a much cheaper option and one to look for next time you’re in the airport.

Bobbi Brown

Finally, the Bobbi Brown Crazy For Color Lip Palette. Ideal for picking up before you go travelling. Who wants to take 6 tubes of lipstick on holiday? This way you get 6 shades from peach to bright pink, and a brush so you can mix and match your own colours to make even more different options.  The colours look like they will be gorgeous with a tan.
