Jo Malone Osmanthus Blossom Review

Jo Malone Osmanthus Blossom

Jo Malone Osmanthus Blossom perfume is my absolutely 2017 favourite perfume. It’s gorgeous and is literally the only perfume I want to use every single day. Now they finally have this product available on the Jo Malone website I can mention it more. I got mine in World Duty-Free which is EVERYTHING. But I didn’t want to tease everyone and wanted to wait for my full review on this gorgeous perfume until you could buy online.  This is quite a pricey perfume as with most Jo Malone perfumes. You do get 100ml however so it is going to last you a good long time.

What Does it Smell Like?

Delicately exotic, clean and fresh. Although this is their description of the scent. Didn’t make me giggle, not at all…ok that’s a lie. “This white flower captures the duality of apricot counterpoised with supple leather. Luminous petitgrain and luscious peach and orange flower ripple over voluptuous cashmere wood”.  Well ok then! I think that means that it’s got base notes of cashmere wood and top notes of white flowers and sweet but soft fruits like peach and orange flower. That’s what it smells like to me anyway!

How Does it Make You Feel?

I never see this in a perfume review, but am I the only one that wants a perfume to make me feel something? I want that sexy date night perfume that makes me feel like Rihanna. I want that girls night out perfume that makes me feel like I can slay and I look fierce. I don’t know maybe it’s just me. But either way, this perfume makes me feel fresh and Springy and it’s quite a young clean unisex scent so I like that it makes me feel trendy and maybe slightly masculine which is great for me as I adore aftershave too. Maybe that will make sense to someone!

I am fully obsessed with this perfume. It’s absolutely perfect for work, weekends or any smart casual event. I love how fresh and clean it smells and that it’s not too woody and masculine or too sweet and flowery. Personally, I hate smelling like a walking cake. But scents that smell like tobacco and leather kind of make me turn my nose up. This perfume is so well balanced, and it doesn’t hurt that the pale apple green packaging is so cute. This will be a repurchase for me, whether I need to trawl eBay or duty-free as it’s Limited Edition.

If you don’t like scents that are too sweet or woody and like something in the middle that you can wear for so many occasions then snap this up. If you like or own Wood Sage and Sea Salt then you will love this AND it layers so well with that too. Again it does cost £92.00 so try and get it in world duty-free if you can!
