I was sent some gorgeous goodies from Jelly Pong Pong to review. As you can see they have amazingly girly packaging and, when I was a teenager and they had a store in Covent Garden I would often go in an gaze at all the gorgeous array of pink and glittery goodies. Sadly the shop was closed and I had just assumed that the brand was no longer for sale, but it appears I was wrong and they have a website www.jellypongpong.com where you can purchase to your heart’s content and are also sold on ASOS.
All of the packaging is gorgeous but my personal fave is the ice lolly shaped soap, this would make such an amazing present!

The colours of the products I was sent are very glittery and pastel-y whereas I am much more of a neutral girl. I just decided to embrace my inner glitter loving Pat Butcher-esque side and let loose! I would not wear anywhere near this much glitter on a regular day but I did want to showcase the products actually on my face.
The products I used were the Shoe Palette in Vertigo Stiletto on the lips (paler one), The Crystallizer in pink on the cheeks and mint green under the brow and Venus Pearls in the colour Aurora on the eyes.
The packaging and consistency of the products was totally spot on, easy to blend products which are well pigmented and apply easily. Price wise I would say most of the items are around £2 or £3 overpriced, for example the shoe palette is £10 when I would have suggested about £8 to be more fair.
Colourwise I wouldn’t personally buy the Crystallizer as it’s just too much bling for me, nor the Venus Pearls in Aurora as they have lots of other nicer colours such as a navy blue with a tint of fuchsia which sounds much more my style.
I will also be reviewing the muffin and meringue set of lip glosses separately as I like them so much they deserve their own post.
All in all if you are a girls girl then this is definitely a brand to check out.
