My night out at the 02 and Too Faced Goodies – lots of pics

So on Friday I had the day off work to have a spa day with my acrylics and a nice pedicure and some sort of paraffin wax treatment, but that was all cancelled as my friend Lou who does them has been really sick so I had the entire day to kill.  Obviously I ended up at the shops lol!

I went to get some Christmas presents but I didn’t pick anything up for anyone else, mainly because I needed to buy a flat cap for my grandad and some fishing rods for my BF neither of which I was going to find at Bluewater…but yet I went there anyway!

First I went to Boots, where they were offering £7.50 of advantage card points if you purchased 3 Too Faced items.  So I picked up two lip injection glosses in Techno Punch and Techno Tart and the Glamour to Go Palette which I have wanted to try for ages.

I absolutely love the too faced lip injection glosses, they make your lips feel all tingly and I really do think they make them look plumper.  They make you feel all sexy and pouty!

I think the too faced glamour to go palette is gorgeous and it is tiny but perfect.  It is the size of a credit card but about 1cm deep so like a really thick credit card.  As you can see above it contains 4 lipglosses, a blush and 8 eyeshadows and I can honestly say that every single on of them is gorgeous.  I will swatch them once I have unpacked but here is the EOTN that I did yesterday night when we went to see Bill Bailey at the 02.

I wore the purple, brown and silver colours furthest to the left of the palette in the pic above, two coats of L’oreal voluminous, lots of chanel bronzer and the too faced lip injection lipgloss in techno punch. I also lined my waterline with Barry M’s white eyeliner pencil which I am loving at the moment, my eyes have been so red lately this really perks them up.

I had picked up two new tops to wear so I could decide when I got to the hotel which one was best.  I went for this New Look vest top, it has satin ribbony bits around the bust and a satin bow brooch whis is removeable that has a big diamante and some smaller ones, to make it a bit more glitzy.  I wore my black Zara blazer over the top and my long black winter coat over that as it was freezing and we needed to walk to the DLR station so I had to be warm.

This pic is a bit dodgy, as it looks like I have a magic hand haha but it was the only one where you can see the top.  In real life it is so cute and comes in cream and nudey pink also but they didn’t have my size otherwise the pink one would have been mine.

Ding!

Very sadly we  had to leave the Bill Bailey performance in the interval so I only got to see half of the show. I am still annoyed to be honest. I bought the tickets for my BF as his birthday present.  We never EVER go out anywhere especially for a proper night out and he has never bought tickets to anything in his life, if ever we go somewhere like this I have to buy them then literally force him to come.  So I paid extra for the really good seats close to the stage….or so I thought.  We were in block B2 which is in the flat area in front of the stage but as the seats are not staggered like the ones on the sides of the seating area it is like being at the cinema, if someone with a big head/hair sits in front of you then there is absolutely no way you can see anything.

I don’t know why I even thought the night would turn out well to be honest, in this sort of situation and knowing my luck if something can go wrong, then it will. So obviously we were sat behind a family of four, four of the tallest, biggest headed, biggest haired b*stards I have ever seen.  Not only could I not see but the BF couldn’t see either.  Add that to the fact that the chairs were tiny and my BF is 6 foot 3 with long legs, so he had one leg out in the aisle and one sort of folded up and he kept fidgeting, our seats were attached to the rest of the row so every time he fidgeted I got bounced around in my chair, so in front of me I have the giant headed freaks, to the left of me I had the BF jigging about and moaning that he couldn’t see and that his back was killing him, then to the left of my I had this goddawful girl with extremely long hair, who spent the entire first half flicking it over her shoulder and into my face, and alternating that with putting her coat on and taking it off, ever time jabbing me in the side of my boob with her elbow.  So both sides and in front.

So what made me snap and have to leave?  I had it from all three sides and then the woman behind started clapping, what I have no idea since I couldn’t see a thing, then her ring or fingernail (something sharp) got caught in the back of my hair and as she yanked her hand away it ripped out some of my hair!

I mean seriously aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!  When we left one of the ushers asked why we were leaving and we explained she was nice and told us to go to customer services and ask them to move us somewhere we could see, she pointed up an escalator, we went up there and …………..there was nobody there lol! So I have no idea where customer services where but to be honest we were so fed up and my poor hair/bald patch was killing me so we just left.

So guys I need you to make me feel better, do these sorts of things happen to you too?
