A Weekend In Paris
Having lived in London mywhole life, it seems crazy I’ve never travelled to Paris before. I finally got my wish last weekend as I was treated to the most amazing trip to Paris for my birthday.

From London to Paris
We caught the Eurostar from St Pancras Station on Thursday evening and returned on Sunday afternoon. That gave us three nights and two and a half days in Paris. We stayed in a great hotel right in the luxury district which had a very similar feel to Bond Street. I loved it, and would go back there again. It was called Hotel Castiglione
I thought everything was perfect and the location was brilliant. If you come out of the hotel and turn right there is a great little pizzeria. Perfect for a late night snack!
Museums and Markets
We had a look at the Army Museum building, and walked along The Rue Cler Market then it was on to Parc Du Champs de Mars and the Eiffel Tower. We looked at the outside and even managed to get to the very top on the last day. It was freezing cold and blowing a gale but I achieved my dream! I was very happy.

Arc de Triomphe
Near to the Paris Trocadero on the way to the Arc de Triomphe you can find Le Kleber . A delicious but reasonably priced french restaurant. You can then then walk to the Arc de Triomphe as it’s very close.
I thought it was beautiful and then when we got to the top, the pollution had cleared and we had a great view of the Champs Elysee and all of the surrounding roads and buildings.
We walked along the Seine to the beautiful Invalides area. We then had a beer on the moored boat Rosa Bonheur sur Seine and took pictures along the Seine as the sun was setting.

Saturday we had breakfast at Angelina a beautiful cake shop with a reputation for delicious pastries. We had the famous molten hot chocolate, it was delicious but the insane sugar high – woah! Our sugar packed breakfast kept us going all day.
