I have mentioned before a few events that I have been to, some people like to mention and some people don’t. My personal view is that I wouldn’t get invited to these events if I didn’t have this blog, so I might as well mention it on this blog for you all to hear about? Yesterday I went to the Proctor and Gamble Beauty Blogger Event at Centre Point.
Hello to all of the people that I saw, I have to say I am envious of beautyjunkielondon ‘s beautiful hair as I spent most of the P&G presentation staring at her hair and being insanely jealous of the condition and shine, I never had that when I was blonde! note to self, perhaps don’t admit hair-perving on world wide web.
First up I met the lovely Kathy from P&G – a scientist who doesn’t just work on the Olay range but across the beauty board for P&G, I have to say she was a real pleasure to chat to and gave me the heads up for you all on the newest serum hitting Olay in September
Olay Regenerist 3 Point Super Serum due out in September
This is also going to have a massive testing period with samples so
I will post more about that when I know
Then I moved on to the Clairol Nice and Easy display, their new brand ambassador is the gorgeous Tess Daly. I don’t use box dye myself anymore but I took a pic for all you girls that do. And for those that like cake there is the pic below!
Mmmm yum
There are actually 5 new shades out but you can’t see the two behind – sorry!
My favourite stand was the Oral B one – I love my teeth white and shiny!
And this is the new fancy pants toothbrush which I really really really want!
It’s wireless and has a little handset which tells you how long to brush for and where to brush
Omg it is like the don of tooth brushes.
I think even the lady from Oral B thought I was bonkers I was so excited about it haha!
IwantIwantIwantIwant!
Oooh hello!
Head and Shoulders will soon be coming out with the range below
for itchy scalp – so if you have just got itchy scalp and NOT dandruff
then these will be for you!
I was given a lovely head massage when I was at the stand and then
was given a brill blow dry to sort my barnet back out!
My serious face is because I am having extreme tan envy. I bet
his tan was real too dammit 🙁 I want a proper tan!
And then it was on to Max Factor where I was rather starstruck by Caroline Barnes. I actually really like her work and think she is an amazing makeup artist, so when I met her I sort of opened and closed my mouth like a fish without any sound coming out LMAO! Fail….
And she is one talllll lady! You can’t tell on TV but she is super tall, taller than me by a fair bit although I did have flats on. No I don’t know why you might find that interesting but I did 😛
These are the new foundations, lipstick/balms and mascaras. The focus is on light coverage and not feeling like you have a lot of makeup on your skin for Summer
I liked the look of this one the most, we shall have to see what information I get as I can’t remember what it was called I was too busy looking like a plank and making a fool of myself in front of Caroline
After that I had a mooch round a few other stands, such as Pantene, Silvikrin, Braun, Shockwaves, Gillette, Sebastien Professional Haircare and many more.
Also I really liked this butterfly display they had coming from the ceiling, it’s so pretty
Then one look at the time on my Blackberry and eeep I had 20 minutes to get across London to catch the train I promised I would be on home, ruuuuuuuun! I pretty much jogged out of there to the bus stop (hello giant blister on my toe) and just made it onto the right train home.
All in all a lovely but exhausting day.
