Body Shop’s new Chocomania range is a great addition to their line and perfect for this time of the year when my skin is really dry. I don’t really like any scents of the body butters apart from Shea butter as some of them smell a bit plasticy but this chocomania is actually quite similar to the shea butter scent with a chocolatey hint. This is definitely a good chocolate scent, it doesn’t smell fake just nice and light.
The consistency is really nice as it is with all of the body butters, I always put mine on after a shower while my skin is still warm and I’m drying my hair and sometimes hair dry it a bit before applying so it melts slightly and rubs in quicker. I have an obsession with my hairdryer, but that’s another issue.
I would definitely recommend this over all of the other body butter scents that body shop too and I would imagine the shower gel smells gorgeous as well. In fact I would give it 8.5/10 – the mark lowered slightly as I much prefer Korres’ body butters as they come in a tube so you don’t get butter under your nails.
I have to say I do find these 48 hour moisture and 24 hour foundation claims a bit weird. I have a wash/shower/clean much more often than these products would seem to assume, who cares if your moisturiser lasts 2 days if in that time you have had a shower and reapplied – is it just me? I don’t want my foundation to last 24 hours either that is just minging! Wash your face people!
Anyway back on topic, I will be using this whole tub up no doubt, which is no mean feat when you have as much of a body lotion stash as I do. Buy at the Body Shop stores or here for £9 thebodyshop.co.uk
