When I first saw pictures of the crackle polishes I won’t deny it, I thought they looked a bit crap. But I saw the OPI Black Shatter the other day and thought I should try it for myself.
I figured it would look better over a bright colour so I picked the brightest I could find out of my box of tricks which is the amazing blue by Filthy Gorgeous (from Debenhams) called Air-Kiss. I only needed one coat of the blue and then I applied one coat of the OPI black shatter over the top and then sat and watched as it sort of evaporated in places and crackled up. It’s actually really fun to watch it do it!
I’m still not 100% sure whether I love it or not, but Matt said that he thought it looked quite cool so it’s got the man seal of approval!
