More Lush Christmas Items 2010

The Boogg Bath Ballistic

Yet more offerings from Lush’s Christmas range!  I have already reviewed a few things here Christmas 2010 items

Matt had the fun job of reviewing the Boogg bath ballistic which is the coolest name ever! Bubble Bars and Bath ballistics are more of an indulgence due to their price but he does have one every month as a little treat.  For people that prefer baths, bath ballistics are a fun chance from the usual bubble bath and the fizzing and swirling colours are so fun.

The Böögg was inspired by a Swiss tradition of building an effigy of a
snowman. They fill its head with fireworks, hoist it onto a bonfire and
wait to see how long it takes for its poor little head to go BOOM!  That’s why there are those little pink and yellow bit’s inside the snowman’s head above.

The Scent of The Boogg is quite milky but also fresh and herbal, it’s gorgeous!  It fizzes and swirls and makes your bath swirled with colours like a firework.  8/10

Maple Taffy Lip Balm

Lush’s Maple Taffy lipbalm is inspired by the tradition of
tapping maple sap and making sweet candy treats from it.  This limited edition lipbalm smells absolutely delicious, mapley and toffee ish, very sweet.  The taste isn’t quite as delicious as the scent (it tastes quite different to smell).  Mixed in with the maple syrup is carnauba wax and extra virgin coconut oil to moisturise the lips without any chemicals or nasties.

Maple Taffy Ingredients

Extra Virgin Coconut oil (Cocos
nucifera), Maple Syrup, Japan Wax (Rhus succedanea), Shea Butter
(Butyrospermum parkii), Illipe Butter (Shorea stenoptera), Carnauba Wax,
Flavour, Glycerine

Overall its a great value lipbalm that smells great and moisturises well but the taste is quite a love it or hate it type of flavour.  I would say a 7/10 – minus 3 points for the taste.

£2.50 from Lush or lush online
