Illamasqua – New Collection Called Body Electrics

Introducing the first collection of make-up for the whole body from Illamasqua.

As you know I am slightly nervy of the Illamasqua counter at Selfridges, so now that they sell Illamasqua at http://www.asos.com/ I am so excited!  Since I am just a girl that can’t say no I erm …didn’t say no at the counter and ended up spending far more than I had the money for so I haven’t been back. God I am such a fool I should have just said no thank you!

Anyway I am definitely willing to take another look at Illamasqua now and the Body Electrics collection looks stunning.

Apparently it is “inspired by the power of kinetic energy, the art of movement, the fluidity of the body in motion.” which does sound a bit nutty but hey the picture looks pretty and that’s all that matters.

The collection has of creams, powders and dry body oils infused with light, shimmer and shine, designed to highlight and contour your whole body.  Highlighting and contouring is so in for 2010 so this will be perfect.  Maybe I can contour myself a six pack?

But what I am really posting this for is to get your opinion on what you think I should get?  I definitely want the purple nail polish as it look a-mazing.  But what would you be interested in seeing reviewed?

Here are the list of the products available with the Body Electrics range:

Illumine Oils

A shimmering dry oil with passionflower seed oil and vitamin E.Illumine Oils are available in two shades:

Volt – Iridescent Violet Shimmer

Pulse – Bronze Shimmer

£32.00

SAY BRONZE!

Liquid Metal in Surge

A metallic cream that can be used to on eyes, face and body, applied with fingers or a brush.

£17.00

Liquid Metal 4-Colour Palette 01

A palette of four liquid metals, this seems good value.

Gleam Cream in Flex

I would presume this is like Mac strobe cream?  It contains iridescent, pearlescent pigments, and is suitable for face and body, lifting and highlighting wherever it’s applied. Use on its own or mix with foundation.  Sounds strobe cream esque to me (which I don’t actually own).

£22.50

Individual Bronzers

Did someone say bronzer?????  I want these asap!

Individual Bronzers are available in two shades:

Writhe – Deep Mayan Bronze

Burnish – Golden Bronze

£20.00

Nails and Accessories

The collection is supported by three electrifying new nail colours and I want them all! I wish they weren’t £13 though so I will probably just get one.

Jo’mina – Bright Lilac

Force – Deep Blue

Prism – Iridescent Blue

£13.00 Each

They also have a Body Brush – £38.00 and some Eyelashes – £14.00
