What is it formulated to do? wash away
dirt, impurities and makeup from the face and eyes. Formulated with
milk proteins, it provides skin enhancing lactose and essential amino acids
to form a protective hydration shield on the skin. The combination
of 100 per cent natural emulsifiers with vegetable oils leaves skin supple
and hydrated. This is for all skin types.

Packaging – very handy squeezy tube with
the lid on the base so all product sinks to the opening. Very handy
when you get to the end of the tube so you don’t have to start faffing
about shaking it to get the product out. It’s a big tube too so to me it is good value for money. I’ll put it this way, I would pay more than RRP for it.

Scent – very light and sweet and milky (who’d have thought)!
Application and texture – the texture
is exactly and absolutely what I was searching for in a morning facewash.
My skin is sensitive so I need something creamy and not a gel in the Winter
but Neil’s Yard orange blossom creamy face wash was such a nightmare to
apply that I need something that foams a bit so it spreads on my face and
can be massaged in quickly. This is a fantastic creamy lather and
super quick to massage in. A real genius texture that is the best of a
foam and a gel a and a cream all in one. It really leaves my skin glowing.
My opinion
This might SAY that it is good for make-up,
but I don’t see it as a make-up remover per se, unless you are using it
to double cleanse after an oil. In fact I have never used a foaming cleanser to remove my eye makeup and I don’t really like the idea of that to be honest.
What I see this as is the absolute
best morning facewash ever. It is creamy yet foaming, beautifully
but lightly scented so it isn’t too much to deal with first thing in the
morning and it rinses off quickly leaving behind a smooth soft face, with
no residue and without that stripped and tight feeling. I can’t
really see how this can remove eye makeup…it just doesn’t seem possible
and Korres have plenty of other products that can do make-up removal much
better. But for your morning face wash then there really is nothing better.
This combines the best bits from all of my previous faves (Yes to tomatoes,
Neil’s Yard) all in one awesome product. You also only need to use
a 2p sized splodge and the tube is big so it’s good value.
Would I recommend this?
Absolutely. Hands down best facewash I have ever used. I would recommend this as a morning facewash
if you don’t have acne or extremely oily skin. For dry to combination
skin I definitely recommend this. If you have a lot of spots then
you may prefer something more antibacterial or containing something that
fights the spots but for pure cleansing this is absolutely awesome. Love,
love love it. It does contain a perfume, so it is not fragrance free. Wish
it was. That’s my only tiny bugbear, and it does smell nice.
It also has the added benefit of being a brilliant product to wash your underarms with too, it really soothes my skin after shaving under my arms and I haven’t had any red bumps since I started washing them with this. Result!
