2 New Benefit Brow Products that ARE Worth the Hype
A brand spanking new Benefit brow collection recently launched and has been taking the world by storm. There are some new items and the rest of the range has been improved. The entire range has also been updated with fancy silver space-age packaging.
Now let’s be real. Not everyone is a blogger who gets sent entire ranges for free, and not many people can afford to buy entire ranges as soon as they come out. If you had that much cash you’d just have your own makeup artist!
So to save you time, money and debate, I’ve found two standouts from the new releases. I have been using them daily and they totally live up to the hype. Out of all the products, these are definitely the must buys.
Benefit 3D Browtones Link Here £18.50
I was intrigued by the 3D Browtones as it sounded like a controversial idea, either it would be fabulous or a total fail and just a gimmick. I’ve been using Benefit Gimme Brow for years and was the biggest fan. But Gimme Brow was shockingly overtaken and has been relegated to the slow lane! There are 2 shades available and I use shade 2.
What I didn’t like about Gimme Brow was the bristle mascara spoolie applicator. 3D Browtones have a similar spiky rubber wand to the They’re Real mascara, but more flexible. This picks up your eyebrow hairs and gets in between, around and underneath. It deposits the product far better than Gimme Brow and gives you depth and dimension.
Your hairs look thicker and fuller and where the bristles touch your skin they leave a tiny thin line of product, so it looks like real hair. You aren’t going to have eyebrow ‘highlights’ like a 1990’s boyband member, despite it saying you will have highlights on the website. You can brush your hairs upward to get a fully, bushy more natural look or sweep sideways for a more defined look. The product feels light, it doesn’t set rock hard but does leave your brows defined all day. This has been a total game changer for me, love it!
Benefit Precisely, My Brow Pencil Link Here £18.50
The show stopper is the Benefit Precisely, My Brow Pencil. This is available in six different shades, and I have the shade #2. This uber cute pencil is shaped like an arrow with a spoolie at one end, the other end has the thinnest twist up pencil I’ve ever tried. This ultra-fine eyebrow pencil draws incredibly natural-looking, hair-like strokes that last all day long. I’m glad it’s a twist up pencil too, you deserve a medal if you never lose your sharpener, I have no idea where mine has gone!
Oh, my Gawd! If you are a perfectionist then you need this. I have one eyebrow longer than the other and they start too far from the bridge of my nose. A few strokes of this rich colour will transform brows from shapeless & undefined to perfect & defined eyebrows. It won’t budge all day long, I am usually rubbing my face in exhaustion/despair by lunchtime at work and they have never budged.
You could use this to look natural or full on Instagram Fleek, whatever you prefer. It can be used lightly with hair strokes or with a heavier hand to outline and fill in the brows. You can get a precisely pointed tail that thicker pencils and creams just don’t seem to do. J’adore!
