YSL Black Opium And Black Opium and Black Opium Nuit Blanche
It’s nearly Christmas, soon it’ll be New Year and party time is the perfect time for a new perfume. Whether you need inspiration for a perfume present, or simply want to find the one to spritz before your New Years party, these two sexy scents are perfect for this festive season.
YSL Black Opium
Tom Ford is my perfume of choice but I’ve been really enjoying changing up my perfume for my favourite season. Perfume is often hard to buy as everyone has different tastes. However, everyone who has smelled either of these perfumes loves them, so that’s a pretty good indicator. Apparently, it already has cult status but since I must live under a rock, I didn’t try it until last month!
It’s a floral fragrance with notes of vanilla, coffee and white flowers mixed with a hint of warm and spicy. It’s got that edge that is perfect for the winter months and nights out. As soon as I got it, (and Alyson who sits at the desk opposite me can attest), I was spritzing this perfume like an addict. I don’t think anyone could dislike it. The bottle is glittery and gorgeous, the scent is addictive and it’s such a party scent that I really recommend this for Christmas and New Year parties.
YSL Black Opium Nuit Blanche
Whether you’re a big fan of Black Opium or you’ve never tried it I also recommend giving a sneaky sniff to YSL’s new instalment in the form of YSL Black Opium Nuit Blanche Eau de Parfum – think similar yet slightly different from the regular Black Opium.
The original bottle is very similar to the Nuit Blanche, one is more pink gold glitter with a black lid and the other black with a silver lid. I also think the colour of the lid depends whether you have EDT or EDP but if I’m honest I am not 100% sure!
The scent is sweeter but less spicy than the regular Black Opium so while this is marketing as an evening perfume I would disagree and say this is more for daytime.
